12/04/2025: Food was lovely, however service was not so good. There was one waitress in particular (old woman blond hair no glasses) very bad attitude, we received our food and there was scallions all over the rice which I asked can I get some new rice her reply was "the kitchen is too busy can you just scrape them off ? " also when we were leaving I asked for the the bill and the same waitress gave such a dirty look and said "you can pay on your way out " I've never experienced such bad attitude from a waitress. Whatever negativity she has going on in her own life should not be reflected in her workplace where people are spending their hard earned money trying to enjoy themselves and have a meal with their family. I'd like to clarify there was another older waitress with blond hair and wore glasses that we had no issues with at all pitty the staff did not have name badges on. I would never want such a person representing my establishment
17/03/2025: Starter - Deep Fried Brie. Pieces were too big and had cooled and congealed before being served. They also left the skin on the brie which was not good for such large pieces. Main - Fired Cod and Chips Batter was soggy and fish was under done. Looked a death gray instead of a crisp white. The salad was made of the core of a lettuce that started to look gone off. No tatar sauce. Coleslaw was good. Chips were good too. Desert - didn't order appetite was spoiled by the gray Cod. Service. Not great. They barely keep us with water in hodgepodge of random glasses. Hat to scaveng for cutting between before starter as no new ones were give. Other at my table. One had a medium well stake served medium rare and one had peas missing from a Cod main. Atmosphere- nothing special.
