The best restaurantsof italian in Kildare

16/06/2025: We usually come here when we have something to celebrate. We used to love this restaurant. For the first time I have been very disappointed. It is now overpriced and the quality is down! Pizzas are ordinary and over €22, small expresso with a pinch of cream for €5. The milkshake was far from what we remembered. It spoils my outing when I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. We'll have to find a different restaurant from now on.

08/06/2025: Ordered Spaghetti Bolognese. Got Pasta & Tomatoe Sauce...very tart, little or no trace of meat & no Cheese. First & last. €16 . Takeaway.

29/06/2025: We try to buy food here around 7:30pm 28/06/2025 but the lady in cashier is very rude, like literally rude, we ask about the product but she answered us in a rude way like theres an exclamation point and sarcastic answer! And she complain to us that shes very tired she want to close the cashier but this kind of behaviour is unacceptable specially she work in hospitality industry.

21/06/2025: If you pass through Kildare Village don't forget to stop at Dunne & Crescenzi where you can have lunch with quality food and drink with attentive and helpful service. Next door there is a bar where you can have a drink without stopping. Don't forget the bathrooms which are truly elegant, you will be amazed by them.

15/02/2025: This is our go-to takeaway and the food is always amazing. Tonight they were very busy, which is a great sign in my opinion. Even though they were busy staff went out of their way to be nice - the owner helped me carry my order out to the car in the rain! Cannot recommend enough.

25/01/2025: This was my first time eating at Donatellos. I usually avoid Italian food as it is dairy- and wheat-intensive, both of which I have intolerances to. I need not have worried. Donatellos had a vegan menu and a vast range of wheat-free alternatives and went through them over the phone with me in advance. The chargrilled vegetable starter was delicious, as was the mushroom risotto for main. To top it all, the dessert was a rare find for me - a gluten-free and vegan chocolate tart which was heavenly. Service was friendly and efficient and members of staff were well versed in allergens etc. My friends had various pizzas, pasta al mare dishes etc. and all enjoyed their choices. The décor is lovely and there's a good ambience. I'm looking forward to returning.

18/01/2025: Got a takeaway from here after almost 2 years of staying away... chicken fillet burger was disgraceful and chips just as bad, remembering why i stayed away... 😒
