27/06/2025: Stayed here and the rooms are lovely and in a fantastic location. The food in the cafe was outstanding and unexpected in such a small place.
16/06/2025: If you are fortunate to be in BB, staying and/or eating at Derek's won't disappoint. Hotel rooms are new and clean, best breakfast in the area, and Derek is one of the most pleasant hosts I've ever met - Great local knowledge, and excited to share.

12/07/2025: Its ok for a Supervalu. Dont seem to carry the same offers as any Garveys Supervalu. They have extended recently. In the summer expect ques and cranky staff.

14/07/2025: Went here for dinner yesterday evening with my husband and daughter, very disappointed with the quality of food for the price of the meal, my husband had the hake and I had the cod, I had to send mine back as it came out barely warm and it wasn't much better the second time, so we both got a small tasteless pieces of fish, definitely no where near value for money
30/06/2025: Well I would have said a long time ago just for visitors that Kilcoolys was a fantastic experience for visitors and it is still if you don't bump into Joan that is! She judges you too much and I am never ever going to be involved in the Ballybunion Run anymore that she's involved in

07/06/2025: We all wanted different types of food to take away, some got traditional chip shop food, some pizza. I tried the new Indian range and had a Veg Biryani & Naan Bread - it was EXCELLENT!!!! Compliments to the chef!!!! Will be back for more!

02/07/2025: Such a gorgeous weeks holiday in The Cliff House Hotel. It was an absolutely brilliant stay, our rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean with an amazing view. Fiona and her team were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. They really went above and beyond.
The food was delicious, the menu catered to everyone in our party.
I cannot recommend The Cliff House Hotel enough, we'll be back soon!

09/07/2025: Absolute dirt, without doubt the worst place I've eaten in my life. Couldn't even finish the pizza it was undercooked, under flavoured, and over priced, I felt apologetic for putting it into the bin. No toilet facilities, and service with a frown on their face.

21/06/2025: Food was amazing, it is takeaway only but they have a little nice room that you can eat in. Very cozy and the food is amazing for a good price. We ate the 2 people pack and it was really good. Will come again!
13/04/2025: Food was excellent. Order asian food, the chef knows exactly what we want.
Unfortunately they dont do dine in so we ate on the takeaway, but he explain that before we ordered. Nonetheless the food is highly recommended!

03/08/2025: We had a lovely dinner at The Lounge at Ballybunion and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The menu had plenty of choice, with something to suit everyone. The food was delicious — hearty portions, fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced. The Guinness was also excellent.
The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy a proper sit-down meal without feeling rushed. It’s clear that this is a place where locals and visitors alike feel at home. Highly recommend The Lounge for a family-friendly meal in Ballybunion — we’ll definitely be back.
19/07/2025: Arrived for a meal. Hadn’t been here for a number of years and was looking forward to a relaxing meal overlooking the course.
When we arrived there were plenty of tables we would have liked but were told they wanted to keep us at one end of the restaurant and gave us a table directly under a TV which was far from relaxing. We moved to another table near but still amongst a crowd so did not get the relaxing experience we hoped for!!
