20/07/2025: What an absolute disgrace! Please be warned, they only serve you half shots in your drinks. Keep an eye on the bartenders when they are pouring your drinks. Rude bouncers. Charging €10 for entry and won’t even let you finish your drink when they are closing. I live outside of Ireland now and used to frequent JDs ALOT and it breaks my heart the absolute state of the place. It’s the middle of July and it used to be the place to be. Greed ruins everything and that just sums up JDs!

28/03/2026: Staff are very friendly and helpful...food is very homely and delicious and good portions. Extensive wine list ......will be back for more , we'll done all .

17/08/2025: Saturday 16th. Of August, arrived at the Coast Cafe there is a sign just inside the door “PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED” I’d be still waiting if I had not found a table myself which wasn’t even wiped clean, two waitresses sitting down at one of the tables having food, a beef burger was ordered, when it arrived we discovered it was half raw some of it was red, totally disgusting, very bad since it was taken over, won’t be going there again.🤬

23/07/2025: Coming here every year and this experience was very disappointing. 5 of us arrived for breakfast before 12. The waitress came to take our order at 12.04 and said breakfast was over. Not good enough as we were there before 12. We watched the table beside us receive their breakfast, who arrived at the same time as us. Very disappointing as we said to the waitress when we arrived we were there for breakfast. My daughter asked for soup and was told it was not ready yet. We then waited 20 mins for toasted sandwich's. 😞

30/06/2026: A seaweed bath from Collins' is a special treat! Claire provides a warm welcome and a relaxing bath with seaweed collected fresh every morning! We have been visiting with family and friends since 2010 and will continue whenever we are in County Kerry! Don't miss out on this wonderful service!

11/06/2026: I think I’ve found my new favourite way to unwind: a seaweed bath. Not only did it make me feel like a little mermaid, but my skin and hair have genuinely never felt better afterwards. We visited Collins Seaweed Baths in Ballybunion and the whole experience was incredibly peaceful. Listening to the waves while soaking in the warm seaweed bath was both relaxing and rejuvenating. It felt like the perfect escape from the everyday. Forget expensive hair masks and body scrubs - this is a natural treatment that leaves you feeling refreshed from head to toe. Whether you’re visiting Ballybunion on a sunny day or looking for a cosy rainy-day activity, I couldn’t recommend it more.

26/04/2025: Absolutely disgraceful especially the f+b manager the food and beverage manager. I was going there every day and today I went and they tried to charge me double of what I had I went to reception to ask for manager and the f+b manager kept getting in my face told him that ill speak with the manager that I spoke with before and he said I'm barred from coming there again and I asked why he couldn't give me a reason and then I found out from Mike the manager who I spoke with before that the f+b manager said I didn't pay for something few days before hand so he is making false allegations about me and discriminating me for no reason I'm now taking legal action against him for racism discrimination and false allegations the f+b manager is working in the bar area so please be aware of him I would not recommend anyone to go for coffee tea dinner in the bar are.

01/10/2025: Great experience staying in Courtney’s proper Irish Breakfast and very friendly bar the room was very clean and spacious and most importantly I slept great every night no noise

17/07/2025: If you order a korma don't forget the straw it's weak and watery with some hard pawns at the bottom worst curry I have ever seen!!!!!
