25/12/2023: Lovely old fashioned Irish country bar. Stone floors, cut stone walls, solid wood furniture, blazing open fire, and Guinness like it should be. Also an exceptional range of whiskies. I think I'm right in saying Michael Fasbender has been seen there. Nothing pretentious or out of place. Almost out of time and an otherworldly feel, including the courtesy of the family who run it. Not 5 star hotel luxury, but you need to experience a bar like this before they are all gone. You'll remember it fondly.
03/08/2023: Once upon a time you could even eat it. I didn't experience that time, but I assure you that today it is a 100% traditional pub. The Guinness tastes better here!
