The best restaurants in Listowel

01/09/2025: We had our wedding on 11th July 2025 in Listowel Arms Hotel and from start to finish is was perfect. We fell in love with the hotel on our first viewing and meeting with Patrice the wedding co-ordinator we knew we were in great hands! Patrice was absolutely amazing planning everything, she was so accommodating and nothing was an issue. She has so much knowledge and love for planning weddings, she really took away all of our stresses. We really had a perfect day for our wedding, everything ran on time and smoothly through out the day and night, the staff were all so lovely, the meal was beautiful and everyone had a fantastic night. It's a lovely hotel and beautifully decorated. We are so happy we had a our wedding day in Listowel Arms.

01/09/2025: We had our wedding reception here on July 11th 2025. Can't speak highly enough of the hotel, the location and the staff. When other hotels said "no" or that would be extra, Listowel Arms and Patrice bent over backwards to accomodate any request we had. The guests have all remarked on the venue, how beautiful it was with stunning views and lovely indoor decor. The rooms are top quality and all individually decorated. Patrice the wedding co-ordinator ensured that our day went off without a hitch and the food provided in the residence bar after the main function has been remarked upon by many that attended as a nice touch. Multiple guests remarked on the meal and how beautiful the food was which is a credit to the staff in Listowel as its not an easy task to feed a couple of hundred people and ensure a high quality food.

06/07/2025: Had the beef - beautiful! Followed by delicious profiteroles... Great service and friendly staff...

02/08/2025: Expensive. Grand food, typical pub food, limited enough menu. I live in Dublin, a big capital city. I didn't expect a small country pub to be more expensive than Dublin. I have never seen fish and chips for 24 euro on a pub grub menu!! Everything else 20-22. Food was fine.but really a bit too greedy. Staff pleasant, service ok

27/07/2025: We found this place to be way overpriced, food quality average, Service friendly and efficient. We will not be back. There are many better options in Listowel.

30/07/2025: Although the menu is limited, the food is fresh and high-quality. However, the blaring radio is tiring to the ears and detracts from the cozy feel of the place.

18/07/2025: Went with a full Irish breakfast. Very disappointed.The sausages were cold and over done, same with the rasher. It seemed like that the food was precooked and left sitting until an order was placed. The only thing that was warm was the beans. Pity really as we were looking forward to eating here.

26/02/2025: Great coffee and fresh cream pastries. Everything very fresh and super hygienic. 2 indoor areas and purside awnings to done under. Centre of town. Great location and very friendly.
