04/01/2025: I am an occasional visitor to area. Two years ago I had a bad experience with their so-called Fish Chowder. Post Christmas 2024 I had another go. Things in that department have not changed. Advertised as Fish Chowder, the product would be more aptly named as Watery Vegetable Soup with a couple of morsels of salmon thrown in. No mussels, no prawn and no other objects identifiable as fish. Just in case of another disappointment, I bought a couple of packets of mussels. Ochon agus Ochon eile. I believe 'INSIPID' is a charitable description. Both chowder and mussels overpriced. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Thank you but never again.

01/01/2025: Lovely spot for a takeaway, shame they no longer have a dine-in area. We do appreciate that they have a website where you can pre-order for pick up. They also make baguettes, which are amazing; even better when they are fresh out of the oven. Have ordered seafood takeaway and have tried their 'Asian dishes' but was disappointed with their pad Thai, as it was an egg noodle stir fry/no flat noodles and the sauce was not right. Tried their scampi, for the price (in line with inflation), it is generous. Their chips were a big hit for those who don't like the soggy 'chipper chips'. Monkfish scampi was meaty. Would visit and get a fish and chips when we're back in the area again.
