12/11/2025: An amazing place. The food was really fabulous. I had fries, Smokehouse burger and berry smoothie, my husband had fries amd the Smashed White - couldnt fault one thing. The staff are also excellent- first time there & can't wait to go back. Also doggy friendly, so brilliant we could bring our well behaved Golden Retriever.

The Canvas Restaurant

20/09/2025: We were on our way to the Dublin airport and stopped at the Canvas for dinner. It was delicious and the service was outstanding!!! I highly recommend it!!
14/09/2025: I'm not surprised the majority of the reviews are 5 stars which is well worthy for this beautiful restaurant. I had the seafood linguine which was delicious and so flavoursome. So simple yet so delicious. My family really enjoyed their dishes. If I was to critique one thing, it's small and quite noisy which if your sensitive in hearing can be hard. But it was a Saturday night and late booking. Next time I'd visit earlier. I knew the food would be tip class as I also ate in your canvas cafe in kill which was supberb

06/11/2025: I had lunch here today. The food was very tasty and it was very reasonably priced for a good quality lunch. I had a Cajun chicken ciabatta, chips and a coffee for €15.
02/11/2025: Gorgeous Cafe with super friendly staff. The buffalo chicken burger and the bacon hash are unreal!! 🤤 one of my fave places to go, and it’s great you can get a takeaway also!

Octopus so good I almost asked the waiter for the meaning of life. 🐙 Medium steak — juicy like the best romance (without the heartbreak). 🥩 Dessert… chocolate + homemade mint ice cream = the ultimate duo, like Netflix and a blanket. 🍫🍨 And the wine? So perfectly matched it could work as a matchmaker. 🍷
I’ll be back here faster than an Amazon delivery. 📦✨

12/09/2025: Very disappointed by the quality (or the lack of it) of the food and the subsequent level of service.
I ordered sweet and sour king prawn dish to have at home. When I opened the box, a very strong smell of vinegar hit me. When I tasted the dish, the vinegar taste was even worse.
Everyone in the house made the same comment about the smell.
I phoned Dragon Boat and explained my issue.
I was told that the operator tasted the sweet and sour sauce and that there was nothing wrong with the dish and he was not willing to make another portion or a different type of dish for me. He was simply not interested to resolve the issue but to only get me off the phone.
I reiterated the fact that if I was dining in, I would not have paid for something I do not consider of acceptable standard.
And yet, with a very arrogant tone of voice and without a hint of an apology, the worker told me he would not be doing anything for me as if everyone starts complaining, the restaurant would not be in business.
Tonight, my consumer rights have not been respected and I am sharing my experience so people know what to expect ftom the staff in Drsgon Boat, Kilcock i.e. either hope for the best or stay hungry.

Got a mixed donor tray,
Probably 6 pieces of donor and the chicken was a hard as anything
Really disappointed payed 18 euro for it
Lived in kilcock for years and will never eat from there again

23/08/2025: I had stopped ordering food from her over a year ago because of how downhill the food had gone. I gave it a try again tonight and never again. I got a notification my food was ready via just eat. I went to collect and I still had to wait 10 mins for my food once I got in there. Spice bag was way to salty and wet.

09/05/2025: This shop is a nice little place just beside the coast so great place to stop at the start of your day and the coffee is great as it’s the only place I think left in the country that’s a good price also the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
Would highly recommend that you stop here.
