11/09/2025: Been here several times and I've always been very impressed by the quality of their produce. Sandwiches and rolls are prepared fresh and are delicious. I love their batch bread. The coffee log is really light yet full of flavour. Staff are lovely and always friendly too. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

05/09/2025: Been ordering delivery from here for awhile and it's been great - burgers have been delicious, onion rings super crispy and moreish. Great portions. However, the fries are bad - they're lukewarm, not crispy, dry, and tough. Tastes and feel stale. Might just start leaving them out in future orders.

26/07/2025: I recently visited Backyard Diner in Leixlip, eager to satisfy a craving for a good beef burger. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations, proving that not every glittering thing is gold. The smash burger I ordered was quite disappointing. The bun was soggy, and the burger itself had a peculiar, off-putting smell with absolutely no discernible taste. It was a far cry from the flavorful beef burger I had hoped for. To accompany the burger, I ordered fries, but they were entirely dried out and frankly, inedible. This added to the overall frustration of the meal. In my opinion, this was a waste of money. Based on this experience, I will not be buying from Backyard Diner again.

21/12/2025: I was refused of service after 2 pints. I stumbled little bit with chair and lady at bar said that I was too drunk. I had to look better place to watch darts World Cup.

14/12/2025: Booked a table for my birthday Saturday night the 13th of December and all the staff members were incredibly nice and welcoming to me and my friends. They volunteered to help with the cake we brought to the bar, keeping it in the fridge until we got drinks and accommodated us to a nice area. There was a nice live music during the night. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

30/03/2026: I had a really nice experience today with Apache Pizza, Leixlip. I was looking for the best deal to feed my 4 little ones. A lovely guy Dinesh talked me through the menu and offers, i came out with plenty of delicious food that didn't cost the earth for a takeaway. Well done Apache and all ypur Leixlio Team!!!!!

21/09/2025: On a visit to Leixlip last year we called into Eileen’s and were immediately impressed by the warmth of the welcome we received. Great coffee, (l travel in Europe a great deal and know my coffee) food was freshly made on the premises and was delicious. A fantastic choice of cake, freshly baked are highly recommended. When it came to pay, there were six in our party, we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were able to visit Leixlip again this year and made sure we started our day with a trip to Eileen’s once again enjoying the same quality of choice and service. 18/08/2025: Lovely place stumbled on by hazard. Home made sourdough sandwiches using a home starter and lovely looking homemade cakes and treats. Little outdoor sitting protected by a barrier from the street / road which catches the sun nicely. Inside has tables and didn’t feel rushed. A little warm in the heat but still bearable. The ladies running it were perfectly friendly a delight to order from and be served by. Look forward to coming back in during the week!

10/09/2025: I go in here often and never have I seen too many staff on. There was 3 of them on and they just seem to be going around like headless chickens , nobody seem to know what they should be doing, and there was 1 particular girl there with long hair and she should've had it tied up.

08/09/2025: I used to come here with my family, but unfortunately, we’ve stopped because of the manager. She is consistently rude and grumpy, which makes the whole experience very unpleasant. It’s such a shame because the other staff members are polite and friendly, and the coffee itself is good. Sadly, the managers attitude overshadows everything else. I can’t recommend this place anymore, and we won’t be returning.
