Rooms 0 stars (if I could)
I hate negative reviews, but needs must. Booked a twin room using booking dot com and not sure if that made a difference to room allocation but when you arrive and if they hand you the keys to Room 3, insist on another room. The most uncomfortable bed I've ever "slept" in and the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, the mould aggravated my allergies/asthma so much so that im miserable on check out. Breakfast and dinner downstairs was really good. Michelle is fantastic. Location suited us for an event in The Lodge at Ashford Castle but definitely should have booked elsewhere.

25/03/2025: Wow! Simple ingredients put together so interestingly. Some talented and super friendly people in that building. Had an amazing quick lunch while visiting Ballinrobe, followed by a delicious flavoured coffee. Couldn’t help but return the next day!

06/02/2025: Good local store. Going there because of its convenient location. But prices on shelves are sometimes smaller than at the till. But one star I give because of rising prices after the recent storm Eowyn as they were the only open store in Ballinrobe. Paid €56 for two tins of azera coffee americano and decaf. Dozen eggs and milk. My granny told me never make many on somebody's suffering and stay away from people who do.

03/05/2025: My wife and I live locally and have ordered from here for nearly 10 years. This week we both had chicken burgers and have been ill for the last 3 days with stomach “issues” and haven’t been able to keep anything down(that’s the clean version!)
Won’t be ordering ever again.
01/04/2025: Stopped in Saturday evening after the Connacht match. Shop was very busy but we were served in a quick and friendly manner. The food was lovely

25/01/2025: Was very disappointed last night had to wait 1 hour 30 mins for food was Originally 40 min when I required about the food it seem it wasn't ready yet... So I waited abit long finally got the food the 2 chicken curry was cold when I got back to the house 8 mins away. When I got home they forgot my chicken balls.
I paid 39 euros to be honest it really put me of ever coming back after this experience

23/12/2024: Come back for Christmas wait all year for a taco fries and made the mistake of trying rosies instead of supermacs. You could hardly call it a taco fries more like mince meat on chips with a bit of sauce no cheese either.Bland tasting meat chips full of oil threw it on the back of the fire to at least get a bit of heat for my money. Definitely won't be coming here again. The fact that the owner does not reply to any of the Google reviews also says a lot for how the business is being run. All my customers get a reply whether negative or positive and i will always try to improve which clearly is not happening here.
