Corleys Pub

Mulranny
28/05/2025: This is a wonderful place. Hugh and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, and the Guinness is great too. I have eaten here on numerous occasions, and it’s always first class. The scones and homemade bread are incredible. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment!
24/05/2025: I've known the pub for decades. I was there with my son two years ago. We'll be back again this year on 12 June. Best regards Christian Konrad

11/06/2025: Well hot dang, if you’re cruisin’ through the west of Ireland and skip this gem, you’re missin’ out big time. We rolled up to this place after a long day exploring, and let me tell you—the view over Clew Bay is somethin’ else. Picture postcard kinda pretty. We snagged a seat by the window and just soaked in that wild Atlantic beauty with a pint in hand. Now the staff? Top-notch. These folks know their stuff when it comes to the local area. Ask ‘em anything—from the history of the islands to the best hidden hikes—and they’ll give you the whole rundown with a smile and a story or two. Food? Lord have mercy. This ain’t your run-of-the-mill tourist trap grub. We’re talkin’ fresh, home-cooked meals that taste like your Irish granny finally gave up her secret recipes. Every bite was a hug from the kitchen. Don’t skip the Reuben—it’s a flavor-packed masterpiece. And speaking of Reubens—turns out Joey was right (and boy, he’ll remind ya). It did come from New York, not Chicago like I swore up and down. Guess I owe him a pint and a public apology. Here it is, buddy. You win this round. In short: stunning views, warm-hearted folks, food that hits you right in the soul. Don’t think twice. Go.

Indian Kababish

Mulranny
22/10/2024: Nicely spiced but tomatoes were undercooked in all recipes. Chicken dishes could do with more chicken. It was more like a curry sauce dish. Def better for takeaway as dining in looks v basic. Nice staff and knowledgeable about gluten free needs. Cash only even though all adjacent businesses accept cards
17/08/2024: We had the Tarka dal and saag paneer with some rice. We enjoyed the food a lot, highly recommend this place if you are around.

The Waterfront Bar & Bistro

Mulranny
18/06/2024: We decided to dine here in the last night of our stay in Mulranny and were extremely disappointed in the experience. Yes, it was busy as it was Father’s Day, but we had eaten elsewhere earlier in the day - more busy - and there was flawless service. When seated we waited 20 minutes for a drinks order ti be taken, my wife’s starter of prawns was presented in a bowl of bread cubes filled with oil, a team member came to clear the table before starters were finished and insisted on clearing my plate (I was finished), the mains arrived and we waited another 10 minutes for cutlery after requesting them, the chicken fillet burger was dry and tough, the beef burger was well over seasoned with salt - neither mains were half finished. At that point we had had enough and asked for the bill- another half hour wait with no acknowledgment and no bill. Money left on the table and we left - extremely disappointing and wouldn’t recommend.

GN Mulranny Park Hotel

21/05/2024: It's 2024 and the waterfront bar has had a bit of a face lift. It's definitely worth the visit. The style has gone more old school, wifey says it has a lodge style. I am not so sure, but I can see the antiquated style and think they may be onto a winner. We just ordered a club sandwich to try out the menu here. And honestly I was impressed, it was filling, beautifully presented and very tasty. The only qualms I have with the club sandwich was it is 14 euros and a side is 4 euros extra. A little expensive. While the price point is just a little high. The extra is not reasonable price if you order the salad. My side salad cost the same as soup or chips, and to be honest it's not really justifiable that price. But the chips were lovely. On a fantastic day sitting outside is the place to be. The view is just something else. I recommend this place for a drink and a meal. They have the quality, taste and location. Well worth a visit.
