02/02/2026: We spent three days in Newport and enjoyed fabulous meals each day at the Grainne Uaile. Such a warm but also very professional atmosphere. The food was outstanding and the welcome from the whole team was amazing. A little gem of a place.

27/07/2025: Lovely restaurant, travelled with friends for a funeral. Food was very fresh and the employees were very attentive in this very busy cafe. Loved the sourdough pesto, chicken and brie melt.

28/01/2026: Honestly, if you are Indian and want to eat tasty Indian food, this is surely not the place. It was really average. The same gravy was used for the kadhai paneer and lamb tikka masala, which was like 2 out of 10. They have fast service, maybe because the gravy is already made in advance. Disappointed

09/01/2026: We ordered at 6:00 PM, with a delivery time of 25 to 45 minutes indicated. The food didn't arrive until 90 minutes later. When I called to inquire after the long wait, I was treated extremely rudely and disrespectfully. To make matters worse, the food was almost cold upon delivery and had to be heated in the microwave. Very disappointing service – never again!

13/09/2025: Ate breakfast there. They charged us prices higher than what was on the menu. Waitress was rude and took over an hour to bring us the bill after we'd asked.
