13/04/2025: For dinner seated in dark poorly lit closed in area that had steps up to it even though we had a stroller! Window-lit booths at the front went empty. Food was average and pricey. Desserts disappointing. Room was pokey, not well-laid out and noisy from the corridor as was at the top of the stairs. Bathroom needs updating. Enquired about staying on another night (a Monday) and was quoted the same price as the weekend nights - short-sighted, decided against staying as a result. Difficult to get an answer on the reception. Wouldn’t choose to stay again.
07/04/2025: We booked a meal here for a group of 13 last Saturday evening, from the moment we landed we were met with friendly staff, the food was delicious and service couldn't have been better, I will definitely return

15/04/2025: Visiting family in Swinford last week, we dropped in here for dinner. Amazing find ! Service from Helen and team, friendly, prompt . Food great , wonderful variety from bacon and cabbage, to Asian specialities. Reasonably priced.Ho Cosy and homely and low key- seating plan makes it easy to start chats with other diners.
Also, a confirming Lettuce Eat as a firm local favourite was the influx of young lads for their post training feed of chips etc.
Go neirigh on bothar libh. !

01/10/2024: I got salad burger and chips. got small overcooked burger in a small bun with an easy single cheese slice stuck in the middle and a bit of salad in unheated bun with chips . I wasn't impressed and I told the guy at the tills and got no apology from him . I won't be back

23/07/2023: I had the pleasure of visiting Moores pub in Swinford where I had my first beautiful pint of Guinness in the town. I was greeted by a lovely, welcoming atmosphere full of craic, banter and great conversation. I had a pleasure to meeting the owner Gerry who made the experience all the more memorable. The Guinness in Moores is highly recommend and it is a must for all visitors coming to Swinford! 😊
