06/09/2025: A true Irish pub. One where you can chat with everyone, sip a Guinness while listening to traditional music, and enjoy excellent service. The best Guinness I've ever tasted. And if you stop by on a Friday, try to find the key that opens the chest... you could win!

28/11/2025: We booked a table at Jack's for a family dinner with a visiting family member. Unfortunately this happened to coincide with the recent soccer match between Ireland and Hungary. We were seated quickly, but found the service to be very erratic. One of the servers could not understand the difference between orange juice and orange squash, and lied when he said he had provided orange juice. The food was, well, adequate, I've had much better fare elsewhere. However the main problem was the noise from the bar, far too much shouting and screaming. The staff insisted on keeping the door between the bar and the restaurant open, hence the excessive noise. As I said the service was erratic, simply because the staff seemed more interested in the soccer match rather than the customers, they were all young people, I couldn't find or see anyone actually managing the staff. We were all disappointed and certainly will not be returning.

19/10/2025: Great spot, had the lamb shank was delicious, desert was so nice aswell, with a party of 6, not one of us had a bad meal! Will defo be back! Tiny wee bit cramped-space wise but the food makes up for that! Great variety on the menu

07/11/2025: The Thai food takeaway is lovely however the portions have git smaller and the price higher so much so that we've just stop buying as it's not worth it. Can take a good while to collect after ordering too.

20/12/2025: It was my first time ordering from this takeaway and my god I really wasn't disappointed!! I ordered the fillet beef with green peppers & onion in black bean sauce, egg fried rice and chips. Everything tasted beautiful, very homemade and not greasy. I had a 20min drive past Clonabreny, the food was still hot and the chips weren't soggy either when i arrived home! I will always come back here for my takeaways instead of going the whole way to Navan. Happy Christmas to you all and see you all again soon 🥳

22/09/2025: Amazing staff, good coffee but so expensive - especially when there’s such a good choice of local coffee shops. Not much choice for gluten free snacks- had a brownie, but there the same you buy in all shops.

08/12/2025: Super cozy pub, friendly service, great place to enjoy some drinks with family and friends. I went for the first time with my friend and I plan to go back many more times. We went on a Sunday and there was live music, very good.

11/11/2025: Spent €35 on two mains and a naan. Took nearly an hour and a half to arrive. Rang 7 times and they only answered on the last time and were very abrupt and unapologetic. Said food would arrive in 10-15 mins then hung up and it took another 25 minutes. This was on a normal Tuesday evening. When food got here it was barely warm and quite frankly not nice. Korma had no taste and Massaman was not as described - only chicken no extras. Naan bread was freezing cold. Tried to eat some and then found a hair in my food! We had an experience a few years ago where our food was delivered 24 hours late…seems like nothing has changed. Service has always been terrible. No offer of compensation or extra bits etc. They changed the arrival time on Just Eat so that it wouldn’t go down as late. Absolutely shocking service and will definitely NEVER be ordering again.

26/10/2025: The atmosphere is lovely. The service is great; kind and prompt. The food is underwhelming. Nothing was terrible but nothing has me wanting to go back. I'm fortunate enough to have had Indian food in both Manchester and Toronto so my expectations may be quite high. I found the flavours to be weak and lacked dimension. €17 for a main dish before adding rice or naan is a lot for a small bowl of food containing maybe half a chicken breast. The menu and prices advertised outside are quite outdated (prices are significantly more than on the outside menu).
