Sol y Sombra

Killorglin
05/08/2026: A truly magical wedding venue for couples looking for a more intimate and personalised wedding. Our wedding at 10 Bridge Street in Killorglin was absolutely remarkable, and we could not be happier with how our special day turned out thanks to all the team at 10 Bridge Street. From the moment we began planning, Cliodhna provided us with local vendor contacts, introduced us to Paul and Erwin from The Kingston Townhouse for accommodation and Terry from Shades of bloom, a local florist in Kilorglin for our beautiful flower column, who I should also mention provided outstanding customer service and professionalism throughout the entire process. The flexibility of the venue allowed us to create a day that truly suited who we are and suited our budget. Cliodhna and her team gave us complete freedom over the atmosphere and the music, which allowed us to soundtrack our celebration exactly the way we wanted. We decided against live ceremony music and played our own song choices over the PA system which worked flawlessly and allowed us to put the money we saved towards a live band and DJ. The level of care extended to every single one of our guests, particularly those with dietary restrictions. We received glowing feedback from our celiac guests, who mentioned that the staff went completely above and beyond to ensure they were safely and exceptionally well looked after. Knowing that our loved ones felt so safe and cared for regarding their food meant the world to us and speaks volumes about the team's attentiveness and professionalism. All our guests raved about the food choices and how beautiful the food was. So good myself and my husband had a second helping of the starters, we had tried both at the menu tasting and could not decide which one we wanted more, the brie or the black pudding Bon Bon’s, And they were too good to share between us! The location in Killorglin also proved to be the perfect base for our timeline. Because the team was so accommodating and organized, we were able to get our dream photos taken on the Dingle Peninsula before the ceremony, which is just under an hour away. Being able to capture those stunning coastal backdrops and still return for an intimate, tailored celebration at 10 Bridge Street made our wedding day everything we had ever hoped for. Special mention to Maura’s Cottage flowers, The Celebrants way Cara Fuller, Shane Turner Photography, Wedding Stories by Maurice, SiogCakes and Pristine Classics Wedding car and Ice Cream bike who all brought something special to the day. 10 Bridge Street gave us a truly unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime wedding, and we genuinely cannot recommend them enough.
15/06/2026: To anybody that is planning a wedding don't look any further than 10 bridge street. I'm 58 year's old and been to quite a few weddings in my life but none of them can compare to bridge street, absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.my daughter got married here on the June bank holiday, right from the start while clionadh was discussing options for them totally relaxing experience nothing is a problem, very budget friendly, beautiful building stained glass windows are gorgeous, acoustics are astounding,a far superior venue than some of the more overpriced popular spots, food was to die for every plate went back cleaned, the pint's 10 out of 10 clionadh, Debbie, eurena and the rest of the staff were fantastic and I'll say it again nothing was a problem if you wanted more food you got it no questions about it they couldn't be more helpful,I myself if I could give a 10! Star rating I'd do it all day long perfection some of the expensive venues could learn an awful lot from clionadh you will have no regrets if you decide to book your wedding day here at bridge street I can honestly say not being biased since it was my daughter that it was the best wedding venue that I've ever been at and everyone else was of the same opinion, so thanks for the great day clionadh and the gang and best wishes for the future from a very happy dad ,Mick from cork

Curious Cat

Killarney
16/07/2026: Would not recommend, food was just ok but felt like eating in a stable or barnyard.
15/07/2026: Cats are beloved by my girlfriend, so when we visited Killarney it was absolutely imperative that we visited this little cafe. Evaluated on decor alone, this place is astonishingly cute, and very much feels like a cozy wee place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon; the extensive cat adornments were very much appreciated, and the fridge magnets were a massive plus! We also appreciated the friendly hospitality of all the staff members as well! Food-wise, both options we ordered were absolutely delicious! We got the breakfast burrito and the fry, and these were both reasonable priced and wonderfully flavourful. The coffee was punchy, and absolutely delightful! We would absolutely come here again, and would recommend anyone visiting Killarney to do so as well!
