03/01/2026: Best food in Tullamore & had a great experience. Very nice & welcoming staff. Highly recommend if you live in and around Tullamore or visiting. Food was very tasty & prices are affordable. Thank you very much.

02/01/2026: We stayed here and found the hotel itself to be fairly decent, and the room was okay overall. However, there was a dead bird on the roof right beside our window, which was quite unpleasant. When we went to get into bed, three out of four pillows had visible marks, as if they hadn’t been properly cleaned. After pulling back the bedsheet, we also noticed multiple hairs in the bed, which was disappointing and concerning. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. Overall, it wasn’t a great stay.

01/01/2026: Our stay was a mixed bag. The hits include the food, the general reception area which was laid out beautifully for Christmas, the breakfast which had a good selection of foods and the swimming pool when it was not full. The misses were the welcome at reception which showed that we were not wanted except for our money, service at dinner or breakfast. Poor and unterested for the main part in the customer and the swimming pool when busy (2nd evening with some stupid local comments about residents) the coffee at breakfast which was not drinkable. A shower which just about functioned but needs replacing. Last but not least was that there was no bin in the mens public toilets. Basic things for a 4 star hotel. Altogether, too many misses for us to be back

07/10/2025: Picked up a Paw Patrol cake for a family member 🐾🎂 It looked amazing and tasted absolutely delicious! Everyone loved it 😋 Highly recommend!

20/09/2025: Bought a sambo here today. Ham, cheese , tomatoe and some mayo. The lady serving me (Dora) was too busy to listen to what I wanted and had to tell her three times as she was so busy chatting to another customer. Got my sambo and was charged €6.50. That’s a disgrace and shame on Flynn’s for Charging this Exorbitant price. Not my fault rents and rates have to be paid but that’s the last sambo I’ll be buying there. Disgraceful

27/06/2025: We go here during the daytime with kids from the local special school to have lunch and involve the kids out in the community, for the last year they have been nothing but amazing and accommodating to us and the kids (plus the food is always delish) thank you so much for all ye do!!!

27/09/2025: Such good coffee. We also buy the bags of beans here for our own coffee machine at home. The morning of my wedding I had a friend grab me a coffee from Half Full!! Never disappoints 😊

10/09/2025: If I could give 0 stars, I would. The service was poor and the staff came across as unprofessional. The overnight oats were awful -soggy, bland, and tasted like no effort went into making them. Really disappointing experience.

10/12/2025: Manager was very rude to a person on the balcony. Very disrespectful and for no reason.

16/08/2025: Exceptional, quite the opposite of what can be said about British food, including a tarte tatin recipe!! Ultra reasonable price and quantity. Chute doesn't say it too loudly, otherwise it will be full next time, but really very very good for us, the French too.

22/08/2025: Doesn’t deserve custom from any self respecting person. My sister who tragically has MND was refused service and asked to leave due to her speech difficulties being assessed by owner and staff as slurring due to intoxication. The interaction was embarrassing and distressing. No one offered a calm, private assessment in fact when the staff member was told by my sister that she was ill and this was how her speech now was she was told -“no you’re full” Disgusting and discriminatory behaviour. The publican and the staff member in question should be ashamed of themselves. The incident occurred over 12 months ago and in that time my sister has lost her ability to speak and her condition is well known in our town and yet no apology has been forthcoming.

05/10/2025: Bufftet food served fast but overcooked salmon and veg were tasteless.

18/03/2025: Visited the establishment on St. Patrick's Day. Live music, friendly and welcoming visitors. Had a great time. The staff is polite and welcoming. And by the way, this is my favorite place to relax. It's very cozy there.

28/12/2025: Avoid i ordered pizza deal when I arrived to the shop he said I have you bbq base I said I want tomato he looked at me and said Notting he messed the order up was not willing to replace he tried to be smart and tell me was tomato base and not bbq absolutely lier stay away guys dirty food and bad liers!!!!!

18/10/2025: Molly was the best server I have seen in any working restraunt she was so good and very helpful cleaned our table and the baby high chair when most places wouldn't. She came to check was everything okay with us and put a smile on our daughters face. I booked a table for 2 and our daughter sat at the back qnd the expirence and service from molly was the best I've seen in a very long time Molly we thank you so much for giving us a great meal and making sure everything was okay

30/12/2025: We went into this place for the first time. Loved the ambience of the place. We ordered soups and starters which went well but we were disgusted seeing our main course which was a chef’s special duck wrapped crab which seemingly had a crab soup over it as a garnish. The main course was extremely salty so we had to leave it. Never coming back.

30/11/2025: Food undercooked chips may as well be mashed potatoes as for the rib in the snack box A it's just a bone 🦴 with no meat food is cold chips can be bland if you do happen to get them cooked meat is just fat and grizzle as regards the ribs
