10/03/2026: ​I am writing to express my absolute frustration with your establishment. For three weeks now, you have been unable to serve milkshakes. It is a disgrace that such a basic item is unavailable for such an extended period. Is it really that difficult to fix a machine or manage your stock?
​Furthermore, the atmosphere in the restaurant has become unacceptable. It feels less like a McDonald’s and more like a homeless shelter or a public canteen. I witnessed a group of Spanish youths sitting at the tables eating their own homemade sandwiches.
​How is this allowed? It is a joke that while I pay for my food, ten others are sitting there eating out of their own lunchboxes. What kind of management is this?
​If this is the new standard, next time I will just cook my lunch at home, bring it in a pot, and sit down to eat it at one of your tables. This is shameful and completely unprofessional.

11/01/2026: Nice restaurant, good service. Food arrives very quickly. Quality of food is typical of Chinese restaurants in Ireland - bland meat sitting in gloopy sauce.
Extortionate prices - starters are all around €10, main courses €20 WITHOUT rice, which was an additional €4. €24 for main course in a Chinese restaurant is an absolute joke.
03/01/2026: It's very different from the type of Chinese restaurant I'm used to, and perhaps I didn't choose my favorite dish.
The service is fine, and the place is nice too. The mushroom and chicken soup was okay, the Cantonese chicken was too sweet for my taste; perhaps the Sichuan was more my style.

08/11/2025: Stopped in for food. Absolutely horrible. Place was really dirty, tables were filthy, had to ask to have it cleaned. Got some form of a ham ciabatta. It was dry and horrible. Also got sausage rolls, they could be bounced off the floor, son got spice box which was okay. Pity because the shop is fabulous but this restaurant is really bringing down the tone. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

01/02/2026: I was disappointed with my recent visit to Mizzoni's Pizza in Tullamore. The waiting time was much longer than expected, even though the place wasn’t very busy. Fast food should be quick, but the service felt slow and unorganized.

19/02/2025: Not a Italian food not good no veg for pizza when asked only meat and roasted peppers : I wouldn’t recommend this place at all as it’s over priced and food was reheated. The vegetable I got with my lamb Shank was soggy and over cooked . The roasted potatoes where very dry all seemed reheated. Defo wouldn’t return.
15/02/2025: We went for dinner in Balcone resteraunt last night , I ordered bruschetta for starter , what I was served was not in any way a resteraunt standard bruschetta , it was a cheesy garlic bread , garlic butter which with melted cheddar and two cherry tomatoes placed on top . This resteraunt is apparently an Italian resteraunt but even the carbonara I had for my main course was more like soup , it had a very nice flavour but definitely wasn’t anywhere near authentic carbonara . I nearly needed a spoon to eat it, it had onion and grated cheese on top which I thought unusual. We had an assorted dessert and they were fine . Service was extremely slow . I would not recommend this restaurant

04/02/2024: Please employ a proper chef with the necessary skills to prepare the food, had a horrible lunch there recently, also give the place a good clean, doesn’t give much hope to see Lidl salt & pepper on the table and Lidl cleaning products on the bar

13/01/2025: Sadly, this cafe is deteriorating. The floors and tables tend to be sticky, and the worst of all, the coffee is not great. Come on Quigleys, sort it out.

28/06/2025: Perfect spot to break a long journey. Lovely food / treats and a beautiful small shop to browse and toilet. We had coffees/teas and treats on way to and from centerparcs.
23/06/2025: Homemade soup was delicious. BLT bagel amazing.
