27/08/2024: Go to is always hazelnut latte, and every time it's made perfectly. Staff are always friendly and prompt. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend for a coffee on a journey or on a nice day

21/08/2024: For my first visit I received the wrong order which only realised when I went home which is 40 minutes away ,today I went back at 1:20 to get a burrito ,wasn’t even acknowledged when we walked in.My friend ordered a collection and the three of them (2 boys 1 girl) didn’t even look up at her for at least three minutes ,there was a queue behind me and when it came my turn to order the blonde haired boy just walked straight by me and asked the man behind me what he wanted ,absolute joke ,this place has stuff with ignorance and no respect! Will definitely not be returning

04/02/2024: Please employ a proper chef with the necessary skills to prepare the food, had a horrible lunch there recently, also give the place a good clean, doesn’t give much hope to see Lidl salt & pepper on the table and Lidl cleaning products on the bar

15/09/2024: A hidden treasure off Church Road. A good range of desserts, tea and coffee. Nice choice to mull over, and a nice breakfast menu. Handy for parking.

08/06/2024: The king oak as always is a really nice spot in terms of the play ground and the shop itself is fab! But the new cafe that has gone into the King oak, Treatbox the menu is great alot of choice but it is on the pricey side in terms of lunch or breakfast. The food took about 30mins to appear and when it did come out the chips were luke warm like the food had been sitting in the back not being brought out which was disappointing. Unfortunately after this disappointing visit I do not think I will come back to this cafe due to these reasons. This is no offence to the staff of the cafe as they are very friendly and nice to deal with.

28/10/2024: Update: More new staff. Trying their best. It is obvious that lack of support/ systems / management is the problem. Contract should be reviewed by #Tesco.

08/10/2024: Tesco tullamore...Ordered tea and coffee along with lemon muffin. Staff at first sight from observing briefly looked untrained and all over the place. We were told to take a seat and it would be brought to us..We sat down and realised the return scheme machine behind us and then realised customers in front of us had been given their sandwiches that they had nearly eaten but not their beverages due to delay in waiting and they were getting impatientand rightly so. After 10 mins sitting for us with nothing at our table and considering we only ordered tea and coffee plus muffin we decided to abandon the sinking ship and cancel order. Possibly worst experience for ordering a tea and coffee ever.. You guys need major improvement or expect closure soon ...p.s every little feedback helps!!!

14/10/2024: We regularly have Sunday dinner here and it is always a good meal. Carvery style with a really good selection, Staff are always friendly and helpful, Its always comfortable and clean and very inviting,

27/10/2024: Had a gorgeous take away from here last night down in tullamore for the weekend definitely going back before we go home 10 out 10 for the food and im very fussy when it comes to food I no my chinese my favourite take away would highly recommend if looking for a nice food

26/06/2024: I applied for a part time job here and was blatantly discrimated against for having braces. I was told to come in for training for the first week which was unpaid and the same amount of hours as a normal working day but with no breaks and no pay. While taking an order I noticed the two owners were gesturing to their mouths and then pointing at me and laughing and making disgusted faces. I thought this was odd but ignored it. As I was leaving the owner came up to me and asked when my braces are coming off while gesturing to his mouth. He then went on to say that braces are dirty and disgusting and people who take orders shouldn’t have braces as they aren’t nice for customers to look at. I was deeply offended by this but brushed it off nonetheless. I then came in for my second day of training where I was told to “shush” and a hand was put in my face every time I tried to ask a question. The younger man working there was very polite but his parents were extremely rude. After two weeks of not being called in I texted the owner asking why I hadn’t been called in for work recently. I then got a reply explaining that because I have braces I am unsuitable to work in their restaurant. I was extremely upset by this and I think it is just blatant discrimination for something I can not control, nor should I have to control it. I have had my braces for four years and I can assure anyone that they are well looked after and they in no way, shape or form should be talked about in that manner. All the while I was there I was disrespected constantly and could never do anything to their standards. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

24/05/2024: Disgrace of a place.. placed an order for collection and when I went to eat it the chicken was pink and cold. Went back with a complaint and was shown a what’s app message explaining why this had happened and no offer of money back. Deserves less than a zero. AVOID
