08/05/2024: Extremely well run. We went on walks around the area and it was extremely beautiful. If you are visiting the area I definitely would suggest a stay here. The dungeon bar was exquisite and they had a good selection of alcohol. They even have their own whiskey, which we got the 10 year old version and it was immaculate. Give this place a stop, if you want to stay in a castle with awesome history and meet some great people!
30/04/2024: Did not stay here ( just had a bite to eat) but I will be back to stay .. Amazing original architecture , in an amazing setting .. you can chill out and relax and take it all in , or go out on one of the walking trails set out in the woods and base of Slieve Bloom mountains ( perfect escape from it all)
