04/01/2026: Have been coming here most weeks the last few years as my kids like the crepes but prices have gone up again, Nutella crepes used to be €6.50 then increased to €7 in 2025 but the other day we were charged €8 each to take them away! Perhaps justified for dining in as you’re using plates, cutlery, getting table service etc but not to take away. Disappointing.

31/12/2025: Very disappointed with this place. Food took almost 25min to arrive and when it did it was not very good, won't be going back.

30/12/2025: Lovely family friendly hotel with friendly staff, great service and beautifully appointed room with lake and sea views! Rooms are very clean, spacious and modern with good sustainability practices! Had a family dinner in the Pottery restaurant which was excellent. Food was delicious and service outstanding, all overseen by the impeccable Nuno who is a credit to the hotel.

26/12/2025: Paid €5 for a portion of chips at the Arklow Bay Hotel and was genuinely shocked by how small it was — it would have fit on a saucer. On top of that, they weren’t even cooked properly. I felt completely robbed. My sister ordered a half roast dinner for €15, which actually looked nice and was good value, making the chips even more disappointing. Absolutely ridiculous portion for the price. Would not order again.
