15/11/2024: Went to Brogans mid week at lunch time. the bar was quite busy. I had about 2 minutes of a wait and got a seat at the bar counter. literally about 2 or 3 minutes after sitting down the dinner and drink were in front of me. Best service ever.
The food was too class and in a lovely bar. 5 stars and more
06/11/2024: We were staying in Ennis last week for a couple of nights and we had remembered this place from a previous visit a year ago ao returned back. Staff were very accommodating for our group of 8 they got us sat within a few minutes and the food we had for lunch was gorgeous. We even went again for dinner two days later before heading back to Dublin. Big main menu and a specials menu with loads to choose from. The portions are big and presentation is fab. Will always be a pub we visit when in ennis!

31/10/2024: Indeed the cliffs are very impressive but why should we pay to see the landscape... But I gave one star for the lack of maintenance of the trail. With an entrance fee of €7 we expect at least that the trails will be maintained: numerous puddles of water, path for the passage of only one person while the cliffs are very busy (one person is killed by falling from the cliff :-(
Also pay close attention to the barbed wire along the path which is very dangerous for children.
In short, the price is not acceptable given the maintenance of the site
29/10/2024: Breathtaking view, fortunately very sunny day, to make the most of the view to the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. Unfortunately, one of the hiking trails was closed for work but we were able to take advantage of the other paths to have several viewpoints.

Rich broth, hot, fragrant, thick, with pieces of fresh Irish meat - this is what you need on a rainy, gloomy day. 🌦️🎃
19/10/2024: Lovely meal! Fresh and quick!! Cappuccino was delicious. I got the soup and sandwich special which was generous and very reasonably priced. ♥️

However, for proper shopping you have to go to another city.

07/10/2024: I recently returned from a lovely 3 night break( Sunday to Wednesday) in Queens Hotel in Ennis. I am a single elderly traveller n stayed on a room only basis, as I was visiting family n was very pleased with what I paid for my accommodation. My room( 112) was spacious with a Kingsize Bed and ample storage space. It also had coffee n tea making facilities. My bathroom was perfect with a top class walk in shower unit, and all the units were spotless and looked spanking new. The room was serviced regularly by very pleasant household staff. I had lunch in the dining room and it was lovely and served again by very friendly and attentive staff. I also had delicious homemade buttermilk pancakes served with winter berries n cream n a large pot of coffee for late breakfast and would highly recommend. There is a coffee shop with delicious cakes on the ground floor of the Hotel where I purchased some cakes to bring back to Dublin with me. I am a regular visitor to Ennis, and the hotel is centrally based in the town, which also has a decent cinema. I will definitely be staying in Queens on my next visit and will recommend highly to others. Keep up the good work!!🙋♀️ Anne R……Dublin 13.

04/08/2024: My favourite place to frequent in Ennis. A hidden gem. It has the best wines and bottled beers, yummy deserts, fresh cheese boards, sandwiches. Everything is so fresh and they have the nicest friendliest staff! They even do hampers. They sell locally made goods such as chutneys, locally made chocolate bars etc. I love to sit outside. It's very safe. I've been on my own, with my partner and with friends. I frequent this establishment out of all others in Ennis town and enjoy the setting and conversations with both owners, waiters and other guests.
03/06/2024: Den mest fantastiske spise oplevelse og en fantastisk service. Franske delikatesser hvor alt på menu kort er lækre retter. Vil man købe franske mad oplevelser med hjem er dette stedet. Dette sted er et must hvis du ligger vejen forbi Ennis.

29/10/2024: I have always liked going to this place as it seems a little more up market than the usual Shannon Industrial places you go to eat lunch. Today I was not happy. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, waitress asked what salad do you want and I said whatever salad is available except egg.. it was a pretty clear instruction. we were the only ones there at the time as it was just turned 12pm. What I got was a toasted ham cheese and onion sandwich! not even close to chicken. I told the waitress straight away and not even a "sorry our mistake" was uttered. she then went about ordering the sandwich again and from the distance she called over and said "do you want lettuce" I said yes please, I want white bread, no butter, and what ever salad is available with chicken as long as there is no egg.. I sat and waited until 12.26 and had to actually go ask the waitress to see if my sandwich was ready as I had not been waiting almost half an hour. she slowly walked off to the kitchen and came out with it straight away.. again it was not what I ordered, I got a dry chicken and lettuce sandwich which I was now forced to eat as I was already running late to return back to work. When I complained as I was paying she said "its a make you own sandwich, you have to pick what you want in it" to which I told her I DID PICK WHAT I WANTED .. "I asked for a chicken salad sandwich, when you asked what salad I said all of the salad whatever is available" ... again I didnt get a sorry or any kind of reply just !do you want your receipt".. I wont be eating there again if you cant even get a chicken salad sandwich right! ... I must add, I have ordered this before and it came out quickly and perfect, todays issue was with the waitress who ordered it wrong twice..
