27/09/2024: Wonderful! I was in Ennis for two weeks and had lunch here about 5 times. Each time was a super experience. The staff, primarily Tom and David were such fun and a pleasure to chat too. The food was excellent, from the seafood sandwiches to the homemade salad selection and the delicious cakes. An great experience all round.

04/08/2024: My favourite place to frequent in Ennis. A hidden gem. It has the best wines and bottled beers, yummy deserts, fresh cheese boards, sandwiches. Everything is so fresh and they have the nicest friendliest staff! They even do hampers. They sell locally made goods such as chutneys, locally made chocolate bars etc. I love to sit outside. It's very safe. I've been on my own, with my partner and with friends. I frequent this establishment out of all others in Ennis town and enjoy the setting and conversations with both owners, waiters and other guests.

29/10/2024: I have always liked going to this place as it seems a little more up market than the usual Shannon Industrial places you go to eat lunch. Today I was not happy. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, waitress asked what salad do you want and I said whatever salad is available except egg.. it was a pretty clear instruction. we were the only ones there at the time as it was just turned 12pm. What I got was a toasted ham cheese and onion sandwich! not even close to chicken. I told the waitress straight away and not even a "sorry our mistake" was uttered. she then went about ordering the sandwich again and from the distance she called over and said "do you want lettuce" I said yes please, I want white bread, no butter, and what ever salad is available with chicken as long as there is no egg.. I sat and waited until 12.26 and had to actually go ask the waitress to see if my sandwich was ready as I had not been waiting almost half an hour. she slowly walked off to the kitchen and came out with it straight away.. again it was not what I ordered, I got a dry chicken and lettuce sandwich which I was now forced to eat as I was already running late to return back to work. When I complained as I was paying she said "its a make you own sandwich, you have to pick what you want in it" to which I told her I DID PICK WHAT I WANTED .. "I asked for a chicken salad sandwich, when you asked what salad I said all of the salad whatever is available" ... again I didnt get a sorry or any kind of reply just !do you want your receipt".. I wont be eating there again if you cant even get a chicken salad sandwich right! ... I must add, I have ordered this before and it came out quickly and perfect, todays issue was with the waitress who ordered it wrong twice..
