05/10/2026: We enjoyed the food at Brogan’s and the atmosphere was lively, although quite loud. Service was a little slow, and our server was very soft-spoken, which made things difficult to hear. It also seemed the bartender was stretched thin helping with drinks. Overall, we had a good meal and enjoyed our visit.

05/10/2026: Beautiful scenery, even when the sky isn't clear. The site is smaller than you might think, but it's definitely worth a visit for the breathtaking views!

24/09/2026: Anyone wanting to experience Ireland will feel right at home in this atmosphere. What some might consider "a bit dated," we see as the quintessential Irish charm.
If you're looking for five-star dining, this is obviously not the place. However, they do offer excellent local cuisine. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. We'll definitely be back. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team!

Spruce Goose Restaurant
01/02/2026: Was a bit disappointed. Heard it was closing so we thought we'd go have another wonderful meal there. We got there for 5pm, and was told that the majority of the food on the menu wasn't available. So we decided to go somewhere else instead. 😢
01/02/2026: Spruce Goose has always been my favorite place in Wellington. Knowing it will close on the 8th of February fills me with a deep sadness. It carries so many beautiful memories with friends and family. I will truly miss sitting there, sharing moments, and drinking coffee.
Big thanks to the staff I will Miss you all

13/07/2026: Small,uncomfortable double bed,loud fan outside the window...going all night,room very basic .However....breakfast was excellent......would not stay here again
22/05/2026: DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - it wasn't worth €1 - the TV didn't work, the sink stopper was blocked so I had to clean my teeth in the toilet, the window was facing a wall and couldn't be opened, the door also didn't open, maintenance had to fix it & I had to be let out - we were travelling for work on a wednesday night and the disco went on below until 4am - it was unhygienic & unsafe.
The rooms they advertise are from a different hotel - the rooms in the hotel are grubby & outdated
