12/02/2025: Never been here before but we will be back. Nice menu options and very tasty food. The place has a nice vibe, and the staff are informed and friendly.
I had the mackerel on the special, I can highly recommend, particularly the puree that came with it
07/02/2025: Coffee was very nice sausages rolls were very meaty and a nice flavour. We were in between breakfast and lunch so options were limited.

27/02/2025: One friend got turkey and ham but ham was just one slice if packet ham for the price of the dinner it should have been boiled ham and food all around just wasn't as good as it normally is bit disappointing on the day

29/12/2024: First time eating in the Point Inn but definitely not the last ! Friendly atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. The food was absolutely devine, I have to say that it was the best steak I've had in a long long time., perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned served with pickled onion rings and a delightful bernaise sauce. The sticky toffee pudding.. what can I say.. soft, decadent, rich with flavour and a beautiful sauce, left a little sea salted after taste which just added to the experience, served with vanilla ice cream. Already looking forward to our next visit.

13/03/2025: Didn’t have any food here only some salt and vinegar Tayto. What a lovely cosy pub for a pint. We watched the rugby here they had 2 tvs and it wasn’t too busy. They also have a lovely open fire! Would definitely recommend and I would return again if I was in the area! Perfect stop for a pint.

26/12/2024: We always go here when we visit Ireland. The staff remembered us from before and were super friendly! They are always so up beat and the food is amazing! Generous portions and you can choose what you want to eat. Lots of variety and made fresh daily! Can’t wait to be back!

21/08/2024: A delicious lunch on a busy, sunny July Saturday afternoon. Food was excellent but I have to comment on the value for money for both food and drinks. It was a pleasant surprise to receive the bill. When at the height of summer we see inflated prices, Earlys does not engage with that and it means we'll come back. In fact we did, without children later into the evening for a sneaky couple of drinks! Highly recommend.
06/07/2024: I always eat in earlys everytime I'm over with the kids. Real nice spot and real nice people. I would highly recommend this place when you ate over for a visit.

14/01/2025: We love this place when in Buncrana. Great atmosphere, great friendly fast service and the Guinness and Heineken are lovely.
The Main Street cafe next door does a great all day Irish breakfast and I love the eggs Benedict.
Great place to watch any sporting event and a must when in Buncrana.

06/03/2025: Purchased a steak and kidney pie, like most steak and kidney pies nowadays, lacked kidney. Other than that tasty, also tried some of my wife's chicken curry, it was superb.

10/03/2025: Food was just ok nothing special. My scampi was tasty enough but the haddock was bland and the vegetables and champ had no flavour. The view is what makes this place. We were sitting near the desk with the till. The phone was constantly ringing. I asked for Tartar sauce to have with my scampi and before I had the words out the woman on the till had keyed in a charge!? She could hear me requesting it. Server didn't even tell us. Its not the money but the principal. €1.50 for a tiny container of sauce from a squeezy tub. And this on top of the almost €20 for the Scampi. Been years since we had been and I guess it will be another few years before we return.
09/03/2025: Food was fine however female staff member who appeared to be manager made overall experience appalling. She appeared to be doing the job of 5 people, leaving herself under immense pressure and in turn taking it out on the customers.

28/12/2024: This used to be a great place to grab a takeaway dinner for the family. Not any more. Prices have gone up, portion sizes have reduced and quality is non existent. The fish was basically a large lump of stodgy greasy batter with no obvious sign of fish within. The kids meals are appallingly small so if your kids are over the age of 3, you'll need to order adult portions.

Poor coffee, poor staff. Never as clean as it should be. Barista's don't make coffee the Italian way even though their slogan is "Italian about coffee". Food is poor and very expensive. Wifi can be patchy.

21/02/2025: Have been going here for years and noticed it getting poorer and more expensive each time in the last two years. Scones particularly poor. Overdone and flat - I’d be embarrassed if I had baked these! Very little else to choose from to have with coffee.
