04/01/2026: This hotel is well located in a lively area with a fully equipped fitness suite, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room with free parking outside, hotel is clean and tidy and the food was tasty. Only downside for me was, the shower over bath days are gone, toilet needs modernisation. But even with that said, it's a bargain to stay here and I probably will be back.

31/12/2025: Booked a room for today, New Year’s Eve, on booking.com. Drove 3 hours with my girlfriend and one year old son to get here. Arrived in reception and was told could not stay as I didn’t have credit card. Nowhere was it clear to me when I booked that you need a credit card as when asked for card for verification on booking.com it took my usual visa debit. Asked to see the manager but manager never came and guy behind reception just said the manager will say the same as him. When I asked him to show me where it said that you need a credit card on booking.com they just said it’s in the Tsand Cs, which is clear on the hotel website but not booking.com. They showed no sympathy at all on NYE. My son was starving and tired. We had to book a hotel 55 mins away who were the complete opposite. Friendly and helpful !
