15/11/2024: Lovely family ran business hidden within the heart of carrick on shannon. sandwiches are killer, proper salad + crisps + toastie combination. would recommend to anyone who wants a bit of character and soul, great value and great craic❤️
08/11/2024: You have to catch this place at the right time of day, as indoor seating is limited. I have tried just about every cafe in Carrick, and this one is a great find. The food is tasty az. I will definitely revisit (not in peak hours though)

16/09/2024: Had a great time at Dunnes bar. Great service and atmosphere. Especially Laura behind the bar. We came from Belgium for the weekend and will definitely be coming for another visit thanks to Laura! Will be recommending to everyone!!

06/09/2024: We went to the bar on Sat afternoon, staff were so welcoming chatty friendly. Craic was good behind the bar. We found the bar to be spotless and great relaxing atmosphere. We enquired about pubgrub Manager recommended Pizza it was lovely and delivered to us in no time. Definitely recommended a visit and we will def be back. SLAINTE

05/10/2024: When we arrived. Asked waitress for menu but she was more interested in talking to her friend at counter than us.
Vol a Vonts were reheated and cases hard to cut and very dry in general. The steak was ordered Rare but came out well done and leatherly. The peppered sauce was Luke warm. All in all I won't be going back again.
28/09/2024: Very good steaks, and the Irish coffee is not to be sniffed at either

07/09/2024: Fabulous place. Crack is great. Excellent Guinness. Never miss out when travelling the Waterways of Ireland. Food is good too. TJ is the new chef.
31/08/2024: We visited on Friday 30th of August and had a really great experience.
The chef was very attentive and accommodating and made us feel extremely welcome.
The food was delicious and far above what you normally receive at a bar. The portion sizes were excellent. Hat's off the the chef, he's doing a fantastic job.

26/08/2024: Really well made food, tasted absolutely delicious. Staff couldn't do enough for us and the Mancunian front of house was so friendly. The toilets left a lot to be desired but the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff overshone any negatives.
26/07/2024: My 2 friends and I were Very, Very disappointed with our stay here. We were give a price by email
two weeks before. On our checking in
we were charged over and above the price given. €90 each with out breakfast. On questioning the cost it was reduced to €73 although some of our group were charged the lesser price of €60 all for the same accommodation. The bedroom had no electrical plugs only a double adaptor. The bathroom has not been updated I'm sure from the 80's. We will not be back.
