Thai House

Dublin
30/12/2024: I was determined to eat Colcannon(mashed potatoes, cabbage and kale) while we visited Ireland and since i couldnt find it anywhere in Limerick,i got lucky finding it at Gallagher's Boxty House in the Temple Bar District of Dublin. We were greeted by the fun wait staff immediately and we made friends with our neighboring table of traveling Germans who were excited to try the local food as well. The restaurant serves their own brewed beer, which was sooo good. We had the Irish Corned Beef,Colcannon, atlantic seafood chowder and treacle bread. Definitely coming back on our next Dublin vacation.
26/12/2024: My husband and I ate here and it was fabulous! The service was great and the food was amazing as well! Highly recommend this place!

Hemmingways

Dublin
11/01/2025: Local restaurant. Mainly fish but some dishes for those who aren't fish lovers. Fast efficient service. The staff are really nice. Mid week you will get a table but may have to book on weekends. They also have a takeaway menu . That's nice if you fancy a really tasty take away of good food.
07/01/2025: Amazing food and service favourite place to go when looking for a tasty meal with kind helpful staff.

The Ivy Dublin

Dublin
30/12/2024: Booked a table for 7.30 for 15 people, we arrived on time and didn't get our table until 9.30, a 2 hour wait, it was a joke. When I finally got my starter it was frozen in the middle 🙈 the prawn curry and cocktails were delicious but a 2 hour want was a bit much.
29/12/2024: The food is good, the ambiance is stunning, but be prepared for subpar service. We were lucky to snag a table for two without reservations. We were seated next to a lush wall of greenery, which provided a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We were given the festive prix fixe menu, while other tables seemed to have larger menus. This was fine, as it made ordering simpler. However, we probably would have ordered more if provided the a la cart menu. The evening started with drinks, a champagne mojito, and an old fashion. The mojito had a bright, refreshing flavor but was mostly ice, and both drinks were weak pours. At 18€ each, you might be better off sticking with beer or wine. Unfortunately, water was not served, we had to request it, and it did not arrive until our meals arrived, and every server seemed too busy to check on us. As for the food, the salmon with herb sauce was great, and the steak was cooked perfectly, though it needed more seasoning to shine. The creamed potatoes were heavenly, and the lemon oil on the broccoli added a delightful touch. Dessert was the highlight of the meal and absolutely out of this world! We loved the chocolate orange cheesecake with mango sorbet and the crème brûlée with winter compote. Unfortunately, the end of the meal was frustrating. Our water was removed from the table with the dessert plates, and no one asked if we wanted additional drinks or anything else. After waiting 30 minutes, we had to flag down a random server for the check, which then took another 10 minutes to process.

Fish Shop

Dublin
17/12/2024: Italian deli in Blackrock village, a hidden gem ! Great selection of cakes and deli options. Panini / wraps are freshly made with fresh ingredients and bread for €6.50. Certainly one of Corks best deli spots. Highly recommend !
01/09/2024: If you are looking for a decent Italian espresso and a coffee that is more on the bitter side than acidic, this is your place to go! We enjoyed ours.

fountian fish n chips

Dublin
¡No te arrepentirás!

The Seafood Cafe

Dublin
