22/07/2025: Encontré este restaurante basado en opiniones de TA. Parece ser un lugar al que los lugareños van regularmente. Es pequeño. Una persona trabajando en la parte delantera de la casa y 2 cocinando en la parte trasera. Menú de envío de mariscos. Tenía la paella de sopa y marisco. Chowder era más ligero que lo que había visto en la zona (caldo y un toque o crema) llena de pescado fresco. Era un arranque ligero encantador. Mi esposa tenía el pastel de pescado que era una buena porción y cargado de pescado. Fantastic. Mi Paella fue excepcional en todos los sentidos. Mejillones, pescado, camarones, calamares y chorizo. Simplemente excepcional. La mejor paella que he probado. Mi esposa tenía la pasta de mariscos que ella disfrutaba tanto como yo disfrutaba de la Paella. Agsin, es pequeño. Disfrute del auténtico ambiente sin pretensiones. Kudos al servidor/histo/bartender. Ella es genial y se mueve.

13/08/2025: The senior white man in the front house insulted my boyfriend (who is Asian???) and me after we left the restaurant just because we changed our mind and eat later and he said something about our appearance and we couldn’t stay because of it. We’re wearing comfy jacket sporty gym clothes, I don’t understand why he acted like that

18/08/2025: We were in Blackrock for the day. We came across a market that sold different things. In the market we found Shaka Poké. We tried a poke bowl. We tried the Teriyaki Chicken. We also got smoothies. We got the Honolulu, Maui, Waikiki smoothies. All the food was delicious. The smoothies were great too. It's a nice quiet little place. We just came across it. The staff are friendly and the service was good. Definitely be back.

02/09/2025: We went in yesterday at 7:00pm without a reservation but the lady at the reception was kind enough to squeeze us in around 7:45pm while we were having a bottle of wine by the bar. Ordered the summer 3 courses set which is great value for money regarding the atmosphere, quality of food and exceptional service. We were served by Andy last night, he is a star! The restaurant was obviously packed and with limited manpower, he was still able to maintain an exceptionally high standard of service not only to us and I could also see how he interacted with other customers too. Thank you for the amazing night and we will come back again.

01/09/2025: Really disappointed after we booked The Ivy for a graduation celebration. Last year was really great; what a poor contrast today. Had to wait for the table (we had booked). Ok but then waited another 20 mins for any service & we had to ask them for drinks later. Starters took a while but then a 90 min wait for main courses. Felt like popping out and bringing in a take-away. The steak & fish were dry - either over-cooked or (more likely) sitting under lamps for ages. Again, we had to remind them about the mains, nothing said to us. They didn't bring a side which I specifically ordered as I didn't want the carbs. It came much later; the rest of my family were half finished. The food could had been great but spoiled by time in every respect. They were busy but if you can't provide the service, don't take the bookings. It's not exactly the cheapest place in town, feel pretty let down. I would have highly recommended it based upon a previous visit, not after this.
