Murphys Bar
Templemore
11/11/2024: This is a Really good Pub. There's a lovely atmosphere and a Great selection of drinks and food. It's very clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. Very easy to park near by. Well worth a visit. 🙂
08/10/2024: Fantastic and unexpected surprise. We stopped here by chance, tired of driving. We went by chance and luck led us to taste real cuisine, in an environment far from the strong tourist influences and for this reason the happiness in feeling the flavour, the warmth of the environment and the sweetness of the 2 girls who served us ...Fantastic

Cafe on Main
Templemore
25/09/2024: We we’re staying here for 3 nights
Lovely and welcoming eat there and had breakfast very good.
Only one thing 3 of us in a room not a lot of hanging space ..
01/08/2024: Always love coming here as a treat midweek! Staff are friendly and attentive and myself and my Aunt have come to know the floor staff very well in the 3 years we've been coming here. Special shout outs to manager Jeremy and floor girl Anna- they're generally always on hand to ensure we have a great dining experience. Case in point, during my most recent visit, there was a problem with the Guinness Zero pouring machine so Anna kindly offered alternative non-alcoholic beers. I went with Heineken 0% and the pints were beautiful- crisp, icy cold and with nice frothy heads.
Foodwise, I've never had a bad meal here. I would HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Burger and the steaks in particular which come served screamingly hot on a stone.
While the lounge can get insanely busy on a Friday night due to either sporting events or special occasions eg: retirement parties, birthdays, etc, myself and my Aunt nearly always get good seats on account of being regulars. The staff treat us like old friends and go out of their way to ensure our comfort.
I can't rate this pub highly enough. The atomosphere is usually relaxed and chilled, the service is quick and efficient and although the place is packed to the rafters during sporting events, it eventually quietens down after the final whistle.
My only real criticism would be the fact that as of now, they no longer serve Daily Food Specials but having voiced this to the staff, I've been told there's a possibility of the return of the legendary Braised Beef Cheeks. I'll keep an eye out and amend my review if/when the specials come back.
Over all, a great pub with lovely staff, delicious food, fun vibes and a great location.
As a hotel, I've stayed overnight just once and can't fault it. The rooms are cosy without feeling pokey and despite being located directly over the Smoking Area, surprisingly quiet even at the height of the evening rush. The breakfast selection is also great- try the Eggs Benedict!
Lastly, I'll say that you get great value for money here at The Forty Four- the pints are reasonably priced and the food is too. Whilst I'm not entirely sure how much an overnight stay is these days, you won't find a better hotel for location and access to bus lanes in Swords- the Pavillions/Swords Central Hub is just up the road with a cinema, restaurants and many bus routes to boot and in recent years, Swords Castle has been hosting several fun events so this is a great spot for a stay-cation.
10/10 Would HIGHLY recommend!

Ninos
Templemore
20/08/2024: Was staying over in town whilst travelling through Ireland. Size of chips portion is tiny, chips are dry and anaemic looking. Battered sausage was chewy. Burger was great.
Attitude of the owner was disappointing, in fact he was downright rude.
09/08/2024: I don't like going in here, because I don't like the locals. But the food is pretty much standard chipper's food.

The Cube Templemore
Templemore
11/09/2024: The quality of the food was a disgrace to say the least. €17.95 for a quarter pounder with bacon and cheese for it to be the same as a McDonald’s burger. The menu suggests you get more than one onion ring that is beer battered, the onion ring provided was cold and again disappointing. Under no circumstances will I return to the templemore arms. The pints of Guinness were separating as they were being drank and the service out of the waiting staff was appalling. The bartender was the only kind member of staff. When I requested to have drinks brought to table from the waiter I was informed the waiter was too busy and to go and order the drinks myself at the bar. We were waiting for this meal for 40 minutes for it to be extremely disappointing.
01/04/2024: Top spot, right on the main st, parking outside. Proper portions u will not be hungry leaving, u fill your mi wadi up with water from a beer tap which made the day. Staff could not be nicer, highly recommended.
