16/02/2025: Tempura prawns are amazing. Teriyaki chicken ramen was one of THE BEST I've ever had. Will be back every time I'm in London.

01/07/2025: A lovely, well appointed bar with a great reputation for nice food 😀. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. At night, you can sit outside under the parasols, weather permitting!

16/03/2025: Lively pub, we had food in there on Friday, and it was outstanding, GF had lasagne and I had the steak, staff very friendly and helpful, pub had a great atmosphere about it, we had a few pints on the Saturday night and it was exceptionally lively and they had Iive music ,which created a even better atmosphere, Guinness was top notch too.

20/07/2025: Worst place i have ever been too. Was there for meal after a christening which had plenty of people with prams and buggies plus 1 wheelchair user and 1 elderly lady with mobility issues and they had us put upstairs with no lift and tiolets only on lower level. Service was terrible took nearly 2 hours from when orders were taking to have worst food i have ever been giving. Only 1 person on front bar when place was very busy with all ireland day. I heard bad things about hayes hotel but now i experienced it for myself. NEVER GO HERE IT IS A HORRIBLE PLACE. My dinner was a chicken curry which was just a breaded chicken fillet nearly burnt through put on top of a huge portion of rice and sauce.

08/03/2025: my girlfriend and I walked into this chipper together. We both looked at the menu together and after a minute of deliberations, decided what we would get. I sat down and my gf walker over to the till and ordered our food. While I was sitting waiting, I noticed one of the staff staring at me, which felt quite uneasy .soon after 3 members of staff started shouting at me "hello hello, are you OK, do you want something to eat?" I looked up from my phone told them I was ok and that I had ordered. I was told to come to the till to order, and I had to explain three times that my gf who was stood at the till was waiting for the other. This was done in front of all the other customers which was quite unprofessional and with no apology. Food was ok but found this experience pretty strange.

21/12/2024: I didn't like the way your staff handled the top of the glass with their fingers. Mauled the rim of the glass. It kinda put me off: the potential lack of hygiene. My first day working in a bar my manager told me "you've about eight inches of a glass to handle. The rim is for the customers lips." That kinda stuck with me. He's not far from wrong with that.

27/07/2025: Me and my partner first went to the other restaurant in portlaoise at first because I stopped going there so we would try the other restaurant star of India in thurles we ordered our starter my partner's food wasn't great no taste mine was nice and then the man come out I ordered a chicken tikka masala so did my partner but it was very bland tasteless and it was not a red colour more like a orangery colour so I will not be going there again

06/07/2025: Food is good. I asked for 2 regular americans and 1 latte he gave me 2 lattes. I explained his error and he has a look of annoyance on his face but I didn't take it personally as english clearly isn't his main language. I then didn't understand the receipt he gave me as I didn't know there was a coffee and scone for a particular price and I didn't see a charge for the second americano so when I went over to ask him he threw his eyes up to heaven like I was a problem customer. Not to worry I won't ever go into quigleys again, I should have read other reviews before I went in.

18/06/2025: Place was filthy, food was absolutely disgusting. Rubbery chips and chicken was just a ball of slime 😅 staff were impolite and their was a customer aloud to stand their messing with his bits in his pants for about 5 minutes while we ate having a scratch 😐
