14/09/2024: Some restaurants serve good food and others have great decor or good service. But the Pier Cafe is blessed with all tree bound together by an amazing ambiance. We had a wonderful dining experience here with great food and attentive service. There's such a buzz here, it's great. Sarah, front of house, expertly makes the restaurant run like clockwork and is so personable. We had the prawn Dahl and duck salad for starters followed by entrecôte steak and beef ribs. Faultless. It's really great value for money and a most memorable experience.

19/10/2024: Amazing food and very friendly staff. Our kids favourite restaurant. Had the nduja burger and it was incredible. Great menu choices, and everything we got cooked perfectly. 5 stars all the way according to my daughter 😄.

11/01/2025: I just had a delicious funghi pizza with basil and the taste was perfectly balanced between the tomato basil sauce and the mushrooms. Thanks a lot for this moment

18/12/2024: HORRIBLE. APPALLING. I noticed the older man, scream and shout at a worker when she did nothing wrong, mansplaining, thinking he is “the man” by shouting at a woman, no one stood up for this girl, I heard she got dismissed the next day, just before Christmas?! Who does that to working people! Horrible place I bet the staff hate the old man too. He didn’t apologise or anything, he looked like a big baby having a tantrum. (The woman was putting away money behind the bar because a customer dropped it, she did the right thing, the old man was shouting at her because she wasn’t “where she was supposed to be” even though her co-workers agreed that the money should be safely put behind the bar in case a customer comes back) Next time you read food reviews, check how they treat their staff.

25/10/2024: Simply the best pizza around! Absolutely delicious, chewy yet crispy pizza bases and really tasty ingredients. They do takeaway and sit down, 6 tables inside with a nice atmosphere where you can watch the guys work the wood fired oven whether you're sitting down or just waiting for your takeaway. 5 stars perfect pizza every time and great guys and gals running the show

26/12/2024: The staff at Vee Café are incredibly kind and welcoming, always greeting us with warm smiles. Their Oat Cappuccinos are truly exceptional – the best I've ever tasted! This place is seriously underrated and a fantastic spot for brunch.
