24/07/2025: At my lunch break wanted to grab a dessert Picked a waffle and green tea. Waited 30minutes for 1 waffle!!! Ask to do it take away before get it as no time left to enjoy it. Got box without paid cream, wait for that another 10 minutes So just drink my tea without any dessert and had to eat my waffle from the box at work Everything what I got is waitress told me “I don’t know why so long” A bit disappointed

26/06/2025: My wife brought home some sandwiches from a corporate event sourced at the Cotton Tree! I can’t overstate how delicious they were ! An array of chicken and ham and salad! It’s not often I get excitable a sandwich at the age of 48 but the quality of ingredients is apparent! It’s a gem of a place ! Well done Cotton Tree ! This humble sandwich consumer salutes you

21/08/2025: We stopped for lunch during our visit to Enniscorthy and it was a great success. Good food at a reasonable price and a very friendly waitress. Highly recommended!

16/08/2025: I came to visit my brother and his family from the Netherlands and yesterday we visited this establishment, we really liked it, a very cozy establishment, good presentation of dishes and delicious.

17/07/2025: 5 star service, wonderful food and superb coffee. They could do better on cleaning the outside tables under the tress, so if you really want to enjoy your visit then sit immediately outside the door or remain inside.

16/06/2025: We always stop here for a coffee and treats when in Enniscorthy. This is probably the only place in Ireland that does gluten free scones. I had the pear & almond one. It was unreal! The girl at the check out was lovely as well!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

18/08/2025: Stayed with my young family for 3 nights, our room was right above the wedding room with a wedding on 3 nights in a row the music was extremely loud which was very disappointing with a small baby to get asleep. The staff in the bar were very pleasant and in the breakfast room, the pool is lovely and a nice big family changing room. Nice walk outside the hotel on the River Slaney, Playground adjacent to the hotel. The food was very nice & good breakfast options, although busy after 8.45am.

18/08/2025: Despite being a 4-star hotel, when I checked into my room, I found the bath towels heavily stained, giving me the impression that they weren't clean.

22/04/2025: This is a gorgeous little coffee shop right in at the car park. Stopped here en route to Wexford using the nearby EV Fast Charger (50kW). Lovely friendly staff and a really delicious coffee. Nice clean toilets.

20/07/2025: Came here for a Fancy dinner after hearing good things. Food was fine, Cocktails were good. Bad atmosphere…An older man I’m guessing was the owner pacing around the whole restaurant like a watchdog, breathing down the staff’s necks,telling a young waiter what to do every two seconds.. And as if that wasn’t weird enough, I watched this man blatantly stick his hand down his trousers in the middle of the restaurant and moments later carry out plates of food to other tables. Unbelievable for an award winning restaurant. The vibe in there was just uncomfortable. The way the staff spoke to each other and looked stressed. I’d rather eat at a petrol station. Save yourself the money and go somewhere that actually knows what “hospitality” is. This was just embarrassing.

18/05/2025: We visited on a Wednesday and there was a live Irish music session which started at 9pm and it was perfect. The staff (mainly family) were so talented from the Landlord who sang to his daughter who played the piano and sang. I'm sure they have much more they can play. The son Jack welcomed us and was so informative about Irish history. Loved it all

12/06/2025: Lovely hotel ..pity the beer garden is permanently closed as its a great looking place.staff are very friendly and room were comfy.small town but has everything you need.just bring comfortable shoes as you will have a lot of hills .

10/07/2025: During our recent visit to Enniscorthy, we had the absolute pleasure of dining at Via Veneto, an exceptional Italian restaurant that delivered not only on flavour but on atmosphere and service. From the moment we arrived, our experience was elevated by our outstanding server, “Jimmy” , whose warm professionalism and expert recommendations made our evening unforgettable. I ordered the signature Via Veneto pizza, and it was, without exaggeration, the best pizza I have ever tasted. The balance of a perfectly crisp base, rich tomato sauce, delicate Parma ham, fresh rocket, and generous Parmesan shavings was truly a masterclass in authentic Italian pizza-making. Every element was perfectly executed. My companions were equally impressed—the Penne alla Ghiottona was rich, flavourful, and beautifully cooked, while the chicken dish layered with ham, smoked mozzarella, roast potatoes, salad, and a divine sauce was described as outstanding. Our meal concluded with two exquisite desserts: a white chocolate cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries, caramel drizzle, and biscuit crumble, and a heavenly banoffee with fresh cream, ripe banana, and a buttery biscuit base—both were flawless. The pricing was incredibly reasonable for food of such high calibre. Every bite felt like a taste of Italy, right in the heart of Wexford. I wholeheartedly recommend Via Veneto to anyone passing through Enniscorthy. This restaurant is a gem—beautiful ambience, friendly and attentive staff, and food that will stay with you long after your visit.
