12/12/2024: Amazing service from the owner. Definitely try the toasties and soup. Soup was delicious. As it was quite quiet, we were also allowed to bring our dog in.
27/11/2024: Really lovely place to sit down and relax. Food and cakes are all homemade, and so so nice. Owners are really nice, very welcoming.

24/01/2025: I go in on a regular basics the food is amazing. The food is fresh and tasty . The restaurant is clean. The staff are very helpful. The service is terrific I can’t fault it.
03/01/2025: I am the most loyal member here. I have been going to little spoon for 2 and 1/2 years on every Wednesday it was open. I always give a 2 € tip so if you wonder where they get money for everything it’s me (GET THE CHOCOLATE CAKE AND CHIPS WITH THE CAKE FIRST)

13/02/2025: Had a beautiful meal in the Moorings restaurant. The staff and service was fantastic. The starters were very nice if a little bit small. Only 4 prawns for a tenner, my main course was lovely, I had the sea bass, but my wife’s meal was poor. The braised steak was well over cooked and it tasted slimy. My wife had the pavlova and it tasted like shop bought meringue and it was only okay. Won’t be going back again for a while. Things will have to improve.
12/02/2025: Have to give a shout out to all the staff. Myself and my partner stayed over for a night. It was super busy when we got there with a match on and Sunday lunch in full swing. There was no space in the main bar so a young man brought us through to where they had opened up a function room and bar and put the match on a big screen. Staff were flat out but were still flying through orders and clearing up and were super polite and friendly. All the staff from reception, bar, to the leisure centre were lovely & super helpful. Locations great (beside the river & short walk into town), rooms are nice & clean. Great spot for a getaway 10/10.

30/01/2025: Our walking group went to Enniscorthy for a day trip and had a lovely lunch in Rackards. Efficient attentive service, excellent and good value food accompanied by a couple pints, , and the toilets were spotless.

09/02/2025: Me and a friend came here after a game of golf. I got the burger and it was excellent. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great too. The chips were crispy but soft on the inside and the burger meat was noticably good quality. Overall great experience and would recommend for lunch or dinner.
01/02/2025: Really worth it ! You won’t be disappointed! Really genuine friendly staff not your false, have a nice day brigade!! Great food really tasty. You won’t be disappointed you won’t be hungry and you will be happy! Overall highly recommended to anyone who wants to taste great food served by ordinary genuine friendly people in a really interesting old building that is absolutely fantastically modern yet keeping the building’s age and character in mind.

29/01/2025: A great supermarket with fabulous and helpful and friendly people working there,It has been in the town for as long as I can remember,great produce and they have there own farm, Glensallagh, and produce their own sausages Rashers Steak etc FYI Best Striploin Fillets and rib eye and T-Bone around and that's not said lightly.10/10

Steady in the family room big and Spacious had a great time
09/02/2025: Room was cold on arrival, turned on the heater up high and on all night and the room was still cold the next morning,
Mattress had springs sticking out of it,
My son (4) found small toys around the room he could have put in his mouth and chocked on,
My daughter (7) found two dirty hair bobbins beside her bed.
The swimming pool is across the road in a different building (not ideal at all)
We were told to pay over there and bring back the receipt for a refund, we arrived back with the receipt and were given a voucher to be spent in the hotel which is ridiculous as the pool should be free with the stay.
I wouldn’t stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.
