The best restaurants in Greystones

04/07/2025: Great cafe in the heart of Greystones.

20/06/2025: Excellent coffee (from local roaster McCabe's) and super panini/ciabatta. Free newspapers to read (to my knowledge, the only café in Greystones to provide them), and even a decent view if you pick the right seat. And not overpriced. ANNOUNCEMENT (20/06/2025): I’m very glad to say the rude servers mentioned below are long gone and have been replaced by some friendly, helpful staff. So my friend and I have been back and it’s just like old times. We like Spendlove’s and are glad to be back! No longer the case: “However, the friendly welcome I mentioned when I first posted this review is no more. At least one of the young ladies working there is extremely rude.”

13/07/2025: Good location but the toilet is very dirty for a food restaurant. Yesterday we had fish and chips and the fish was watery and oily. There were five of us and they didn't ask us if we could take the €10 tip. I've never experienced that anywhere.

11/07/2025: This is quite simple in food ordering. Don't take people's money, then tell them 30 min later that half the ingredients on their order they don't have. That's twice now(more fool me) get a pizza here instead

04/07/2025: The food itself was good, with lots of beans and a very limited amount of chicken. The price was a bit high. All in all, it was OK.

08/03/2025: Really good service and coffee. Great place for a take away lunch, the Korean hot chicken sandwich is excellent.

13/07/2025: Walked in for pizzas and the lady at the deli counter got 2 from the display and cooked them straight away.... now that's great service 😀

26/03/2025: Nice cafe but toilets are always dirty. Toilets need proper cleaning. Sometimes staff aren't busy and just chat instead of cleaning place.

26/07/2025: Ordered food for take away which was very poor . It chicken was chewy and chips were very poor also .. waste of good money. Won’t be using this restaurant again

20/07/2025: Ordered a few times from here before and always been good but tonight the beef black bean was old and chewy and covered in some kind of oil. It was honestly not great to eat.

04/07/2025: I advise against it to anyone, a place where you can only poison yourself. Cod in batter so thick that even without fish you can eat it, if you like hard and fat-soaked batter. The fries freshly taken out of the fryer tasted like they had been lying there for a week. Pale and just like the fish, soaked in a huge amount of fat. I didn't try the burgers, but after this culinary experience I will never go there again and I recommend everyone to give this "restaurant" a wide berth.

18/05/2025: Ordered food online from their website, They Forgot some stuff from my order, tried calling them back and tried explaining repeatedly on the phone what they missed and the woman couldn't understand me. Then she just went silent despite background noise, had to hang up. Won't be ordering again personally.

11/06/2025: €5.25 for a mocha that is disgusting price to charge, it's a small cup too, you don't deserve money charging that

04/05/2025: I was on the road and looking forward to a nice coffee and possibly a fresh pastry. I decided here would be a good place to stop off without stopping, especially as I had my daughter in the car! The guy was very friendly but I paid over €8 for a tiny, lukewarm coffee and a stale almond croissant. Where is cup size every other coffee place offers their customers as standard? The coffee was almost cold when I reached my destination less than ten minutes later and my daughter and I ended up sharing a scrap of the croissant - I had to throw most of it in the bin. Seriously lads, why are you charging your customers these prices for stale pastries and under-sized coffees? Hoping you’ll start to do right by your customers who take the time to wangle their way in to visit. It’d be nice to get a response to this review but it’s highly unlikely. In that case, I’ll drive on by to the next place next time.

01/06/2025: Really tasty Indian food and excellent value delivered while still hot. The Railway Lamb in particular was so tender. Highly recommended. My second time with them. Food arrived in 40 mins on a busy Saturday night which was 10 minutes earlier than expected.

26/05/2025: This was possibly the greatest restaurant I’ve ever been in, no scratch that it was the best. The most delicious sauces you could possibly dream of everything was cooked so incredibly perfectly. It tasted like a bowl of heaven.

27/07/2025: Mrs. Robinson is not just a bar. It's like vintage, history and Guinness gathered for a party. You went in for "one drink" and ended up in a museum of style, spirit and details. Every corner here asks: "Take a photo of me." And every drink - "stay for one more." This is not just a bar - it's a character. With its own character, style and secrets❤️❤️❤️ I definitely recommend going in for a drink🫶🏻

11/07/2025: Amazing coffee! Great staff and wonderful atmosphere! Decent price for the coffee. So glad we stopped in. By far the best vanilla latte I have had in a long time!

08/06/2025: Love this Cafe and visit whenever we are in Greystones . Their scones are the best I've ever tasted and the Coffee is tops too .

13/06/2025: Let's be honest, Domino's is very much a last resort when ordering a Pizza in Ireland. I've reluctantly ordered Domino's a few times in various outlets across Ireland over many years, and somehow it seems to get worse. Last nights order was more of the same and the quality of ingredients just isn't there. It leaves you feeling ripped off!

02/06/2025: just today (june 6, 2025 at 17:00). my wife collected a half-half pizza. when we open the box the pizza was sliced so wierd. as if someone is trying to steal a portion of it. there is a straight slice in the middle then 5 small slices in each side. in some slices you can have both flavors. maybe the guy who slice has a very bad day because it's a bank holiday. we have been ordering this branch for 3 years now.
