Good bites and great live music

great service! cocktails were nice, loved the fun touch they had to the menu. we had the fish and chips and a side salad, both of which were delightful! fish was perfect, chips were well salted and the side salads dressing was very nice. gorgeous decorations up coming into christmas time!

Stopped in today to have a pint. The staff we're fabulous. However, we were disappointed in the food because it was cold. Hubby had the chowder and he didn't think there was much meat in it. It was luke warm. I had the muscles and they were not warm but tasty. We also had an order of French fries, but they too were cold.Don't know what was going on perhaps this is not the norm.

I am from catering background, On a day out in Galway & looking for bite to eat with family, walked in & out of many places before came across Fitzgeralds Bar, The only place to be greeted upon entry, top marks, Then a seat found for us by lovely friendly young man, Service excellent, food amazing, all staff so nice, Even bid farewell, Its the little things, Well done to all at Fitzgeralds Bar, will be back & will recommend, Thankyou,

We spent two hours there in the late afternoon, drinking beers and listening to musicians playing local music. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this bar. It has an authentic feel and the prices are very reasonable.

Been there a feq times durimg my stay, great service, excellent food, perfect music, good atmosphere. One area of improvement though, the rest room could be much cleaner...

On the two nights we dined in Galway, we dined at this pub, which had lovely live music and was welcoming both for the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. We ate mussels, soup of the day, chicken curry, homemade sandwiches/burgers, and Irish beer—all excellent. We met a young Italian waiter, whom we wish "good luck with everything." Well done.

Fuimos aquí a cenar con unos amigos por la noche. Pedí una ensalada y la comida de mariscos. La ensalada estaba bien, pero la comida estaba deliciosa. Cremoso y lleno de mariscos. El servicio también fue amable y atento. Es un lugar animado con el bar y música en vivo. Estábamos sentados al lado de un grupo de australianos borrachos que fue una experiencia divertida. Gran lugar para un buen rato.

L'accueil et le service sont efficaces et sympathiques. L'ambiance - musique live - est au top. Très bonnes bières et plats de poissons ou moules.
