Abbey Hotel Roscommon in Roscommon

Went for a wedding, spent 2 days getting sick. Vol a vaunt filling was cold, roast beef was like the sole of a boot, inedible!! No where near enough veg, mash, gravy etc. Desert was tiny, 1 was still frozen of the "trio" and as for the pints, a bar staff member laughed when I told him how sour my pint was, as he said "I'm not surprised, that keg probably open since the last event lime 3 weeks ago 🤣" no wonder I was so sick!! Will never ever go there again!

Food is expensive and not very good but staff is nice

Lovely hotel, stayed there 1 night for work. Nice clean rooms. Very spacious. Cindy beds. Nice location. Walked into the town. There’s a shop near it and plenty parking. Food was lovely in the bar and all staff were nice and friendly!!

Was surprised by how comfortable the place was ,warm and cosy food was very nice breakfast great rooms excellent staff kind and very helpful and lovely pool etc.

Stayed here one night after a relative in her 90s had a long drive to roscommon and then a procedure in the hospital on thesame day She was very tired and the staff were amazing and really made her day. Thanks ever so much. The twin room was very comfortable she was cold after a long day so they out an extra heater in and got her tea and the most amazing scones with jam and cream. She was so grateful

Had been there for a meeting and stayed over night. Food was good and bar / waiting service were brilliant. Meeting room was very odd dated in mu opinion and room i stayed in could do with updating

This was a great spot, we got the wine and dine deal, it was great value, the dinner was delicious, they were very busy so we had a little bit of a wait but it was great atmosphere and we didn't notice the time going, the room was comfortable, the bathroom had no lock and I couldn't get the shower to work but honestly I really didn't care as the overall experience was fab.
