Abbey Tavern in Dublin

Dropped in here for Sunday Lunch whilst exploring Howth. This is not on the front so might be overlooked or missed by many - which would be a mistake. Lovely ambience, great choice of beers and food and the Shepherd’s Pie and the Steak & Guinness Pies were lovely. Staff were friendly and welcoming too. Would highly recommend as the prices were great value too.

Made a lunch stop after cliffs walk and were pleased with food and service. We didn’t make a booking on busy Sunday afternoon, however managed to get a table, which was really nice. Traditional fish and chips made our day.
