Abbeyleix Manor in Abbeyleix

We had our wedding at the Abbeyleix manor, I have to say they are excellent, they were well organised, they made all the planning much easier, food and atmosphere was brilliant, I highly recommend anyone who is planning to have a wedding there the feedback we got from friends and family said it all. Well deserved 5 stars

Stayed overnight recently for an event in the ballroom. The staff were fantastic and extremely friendly and helpful. Initially when you drive into the hotel from the from it gives the impression of a "motel" but the staff and amenities quickly make you forget about that. The interior is decorated with old Irish paintings, furniture,wood burning stove and other furniture to match. The bar/restaurant has something available for almost any visitor. We asked for a double room and we were given a double room with an additional double bed. This was a nice suprise as we had a bed to lie on and watch t.v and one to sleep in. The room itself is fairly basic with a t.v with streaming services, bathroom with toilet bath/shower. There's teabags,coffee,milk and a kettle in the room but there is no fridge or water provided for tea. We didn't risk using the tap water from the sink. There's also an ironing board,iron and coat hangers (only 3 hangers in our room). There is no safe in the room. The only issue we had with the room was it's temperature. It was very warm and we had to open the window all day to cool the room down. Overall a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend.

We arrived at abbeyleix Hotel on Sunday 12th April for an overnight stay for a funeral. From moment we came in the Staff were so friendly and helpful. I had my special needs son with me and nothing was a problem to them warming my sons food up. Think Hawk and Charlie were the bar men and they were so so nice. Helpful and friendly. Food,rooms,service was 100%. Thank you again and hope to get down another weekend

We were there for an event & at break we had carvery dinner & omg it was amazing food piping hot, & desert was delightful & a big selection....

I went over to the Mannor for a concert and something to eat, the food was lovely and friendly staff, the parking is very plentiful the concert was very good, the only problum was that there was a few people vaping around the table I didnt think they were allowed to smoke or vape inside,

Nice hotel very close to Abbeyleix town which is really nice . The Gluten free breakfast was the best I've had ...as I usually get a poor gluten free breakfast but not this time .... It was enormous and very very tasty.
