I googled nice restaurants in Carlow / Kilkenny and i go the Michelin List website, i saw Bramley's listing and said to myself, I've heard about this place, but could not recall any detals, so just booked it and it was fantastic, we had the tasting menu. the food was amazing and the staff were just great. We will definitely be back and would recommend you to visit also.

Early bird 3 course for under 40 euro. Lovely lovely food. Great service . Very worth the trip.

Bramley Abbeyleix is a wonderful dining experience. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and full of flavour, while the service throughout was professional and attentive. A special mention to our waitress, Leona, who was warm, charming and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. Her friendly manner added greatly to the experience. Overall, a superb restaurant with great food, excellent staff and a wonderfully relaxed vibe.

We came for lunch on a Sunday. The service and food were both well above average. Truly memorable experience, don't miss it.

Not as all as good as former times... Soup way to thick and no flavour, I had to ask again what it was! Lasange not good, lack of flavour, too much bechemel etc. However, when told co-owner of my disappointment, he reduced the bill and thanked me for honest reaction.

Absolutely fantastic experience a few weeks ago. It has to be on the way to a Bib and a star in the not too distant future - food, presentation and service all top notch. After our starters we had delicious halibut and duck for mains with sides of hash fries and winter greens. We shared a hot chocolate souffle to finish. It was very much worth the trip and overnight in the local hotel to experience Bramley. Also had a drink in Morrissey's across the road which is a must do on a visit to Abbeyleix

Lovely staff, beautiful room. The Supper menu was amazing, I was too full to have dessert - next time!

Had the tasting menu and it was fabulous. Plenty of time between each course so you are never rushed. Staff are so nice, it was very busy and they were always preemptive for drinks and couldn't have been nicer. Our 4th time being there and it certainly won't be our last.

Excellent. Family owned. Michelin star trained chef is hands on. Lovely smiling service. Fresh local produce. Fresh veg from their garden. Reasonable prices. Recommended
