22/01/2026: We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to host our wedding than the woodlands . From the very first conversation right through to the big day itself, the entire team went above and beyond to make everything flawless, relaxed, and truly special.
The setting was absolutely beautiful, the attention to detail was incredible, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The staff were professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making our day unforgettable—not just for us, but for our guests as well. So many of our family and friends commented on how smooth everything ran, how stunning the venue was, and how wonderful the service felt.
The food was exceptional, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the atmosphere throughout the day and evening was magical. We felt completely looked after, which meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding.
Thank you to everyone at The Woodlands for giving us memories we will treasure forever. We’ll always look back on our wedding day with huge smiles and so much gratitude. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

09/12/2025: I stayed with my mam last night and we had an amazing time. We bought the package deal of bed and breakfast, dinner and entry to the Mike Denver dance. We first had afternoon tea which was delicious and our waiter Evan was very friendly and kind. Later in the day we then had a Christmas dinner that was very tasty. The quality of the food and service in the woodlands is top notch. Mike Denver was a fun night and the room was also very comfortable, modern and cosy. The breakfast room was busy this morning but it was so well organised and again we couldn't fault the food or service. Thanks for a great stay 10/10. I have attended many events between birthdays/christenings here and it is always a good experience.
