In the middle of Adare village. Good spot to stop for a toilet break and a coffee. Has a little cafe which always seems busy and a craft shop. Parking out the back.

I discovered this old and beautiful little town after several years spent in Ireland. It's a hidden gem, with small little old houses and an old abbey. Unfortunately I was not able to visit the old castle because it is on a private property now.

The Adare Heritage Centre is a great place to stop when visiting the beautiful village of Adare. It’s right in the centre of town, easy to find, and full of interesting information about Adare’s history and heritage. Inside, you’ll find a small but well-presented exhibition that tells the story of the village, its medieval origins, and the famous thatched cottages that make Adare so charming.
The staff are friendly and happy to share tips about what to see around the area, including Adare Manor, the old churches, and the local craft shops. There’s also a gift shop with lovely Irish-made products and a nice café that’s perfect for a coffee or light lunch.
Parking is free and right outside, which makes it an easy and convenient stop. Whether you’re just passing through or spending the day exploring Adare, the Heritage Centre is definitely worth a visit. It’s the perfect starting point to learn about the village before walking around and discovering its beauty in person.

I did the Desmond Castle tour with Maria and had a really great time! She gave us lots of history both on the castle and the people that used to live in Adare. The castle itself was well worth the €10 ticket to see up close and I got some great pictures. Highly recommend!

Very nicely done, where you can visit every house and there are authentic people who explain everything to you. Like a pomitist, a blacksmith, a baker. Really worth seeing.

Beautiful little place to learn about Adare. But also you can easily walk up to see some of the beautiful cottages near the circle. There are restaurants nearby and coffee shops too.
