Super nice , lovely people, you can even go to school and learn gaelic. Take your time. You will probably need a day if you want to see everything. But it is totally worth it

Great place for a pit stop and coffee just time it well can get very busy when ther is buses on site ,loads of parking out back ,alot of information of the site there

05/04/2026: Disappointing… scallops with curry dressing, chicken with wasabi mayonnaise … why ?? Steak was tough but chicken was cooked lovely. Overall nothing special
20/03/2026: Was treated for Mother's Day ! OMG I had heard about 1826 but had never been .. And it fulfilled all expectations! Absolutely fabulous ! Food was DIVINE !!!!!! Everything about the experience was perfect .. the ambience .. the staff .. the service ...Can't wait for the next occasion! 😉 😉

04/05/2026: Sunday lunch was fab..beautiful beef..Denis gave wonderful service…a memorable afternoon..
05/04/2026: Lovely hotel but poor service particularly in the bar area. There were 6 customers in the bar and 7 bar staff and yet I struggled to get the attention of any of the staff, poorly trained. The hotel and location is great and the breakfast is excellent with great service.
