Agapé Café/Restaurant in Kildare

Such a cosy place. Perfect for breakfast with a friend. 🩷

Bit of mixed feelings about this place, it's hard to find the door, open the big door on the main street as if going into someone's house. It does have a big sign saying Open, but honestly? We weren't to sure if we had walked into someone's house. The decor is quite dark, the place is spotlessly clean. I had the open cheesy chicken cajun melt, the portion is enormous, it's very tasty. However, couldn't even finish it. I would have preferred the coleslaw and salad on the side. A smaller portion, salad on the side at a smaller portion would be ideal for lunch, at a cheaper price to cut down on waste. My son had the chunky? Roll, again, delicious, but the portion was too big. The food is lovely, staff are friendly. Another person had some eggs on toast, Again it looked delicious but definitely massive.

Gorgeous lunch spot, highly recommend their sandwiches with the crumbed tayto

Had breakfast gluten free delicious but disappointed thought they were open in the evening going to book again for dinner lovely food great staff 😋

Amazing menu, generous portions and delicious. Great coffee to boot.

Just perfect. The quality of the food and resulting flavours were exceptional. I’d happily drive a long way to repeat the experience.

Good food and service, quite dark inside with a quiet atmosphere

Beautiful restaurant/café with great service. We went for breakfast and it was delicious!

The atmosphere there it’s incredible, like feeling in home. The food!!! OMG the best sandwich that I’d tried in Ireland till now!

This hidden gem in the middle of Kildare Town is amazing, very generous portions and no matter what flavoured soups they take amazing - highly recommended
