Sitaaray in Kildare

I have dined in as well as gotten many takeaways from here and I have not gotten one bad meal ever. The food is so tasty. I ordered many different mains and starters from their vast menu and each dish as good as the last. There is so much flavour and portion sizes are really generous. It's my go to favourite takeaway in the town.

Highly recommend. Excellent, friendly service, stylish surroundings and delicious food. Also vg value €42 for 2 main courses & 2 side dishes. More than enough food and very well cooked. We will definitely return when back in the Kildare area.

Lamb Skewer is succulent and juicy. Chicken biryani is delicious although the chicken can be a bit tough and very dry sometimes, not totally inedible but very noticeable that it’s overcooked and needs a good chew I do think it depends on the day because it can be beautiful and tender sometimes. Much better value than a pizza from anywhere in the town and great prices. Definitely think more people should order from here as everyone seems to prefer a chinese.

Nice and peaceful place and service is grant, it's little tricky answering and food is amazing one of the best Indian food i had in Ireland that starters are amazing 👏 and main course are very lovely 😍 special thanks to cheff

After strolling around KV I fancied an Indian and Sitaaray came up as local so let’s go. Parking is challenging in Kildare town but got sorted. Walked up to the restaurant and there was only 1 other couple there…. Wasn’t sure. Went in got a nice welcome, brought to our table, given our menus plenty to choose from. Starters arrived promptly and were very nice Samosa, mains arrived with fresh garlic naan bread, have to say pilu rice and we had a Korma and Rogan Josh both plates were cleared.👍 (ps another couple arrived and take seemed to be busy ) Some points to note got a bottle of water brought to our table but were not told it would cost €3:15, chicken was a little chewy but ate able and atmosphere was a little flat. Would we go back yes because for all of us Indian food lovers we have to support these small businesses as they are getting harder to find every week 👍
