I was out with a group from work recently, and there were a few other Christmas parties in as well, so the place had a great buzz. The food was lovely — everyone at our table was happy with what they got — and the staff were genuinely pleasant, attentive, and doing their best on a busy night.
The one downside was the noise level. The acoustics in the restaurant are very poor, and with multiple groups talking over each other, the din became almost unbearable at times. It made conversation difficult, even across the table. It’s a pity, because everything else about the evening was spot on.
If Al Muretto improved the acoustics, it would turn a good night into a great one. As it stands, the food and service are excellent, but be prepared for a very loud room when it’s busy — especially around Christmas.
Was very surprised by portion size (very big ones). The chef is really very generous 😅 but even after such a portion we left without "heavy" feeling in the gut. If you are near this restaurant, definetelly worth to visit!
Ps sorry for the quality of photos. Forgot to take them in the beginning
I was very impressed with their foods. They are authentic Italian dishes with the fresh and good ingredients. The staffs in there are lovely and friendly. Nice and cozy restaurant. Their pasta dishes are highly recommended.
Great little place for some outstanding Italian food, staff are very friendly and the food was amazing. Had a great chat with the owner who made us feel very welcome 😁
No visited yet but two Italians ( separately ) living in Mayo highly recommended it to us today.
Little touches like truffle oil and Pecorino were in evidence. My wife ( Italian) have been looking for a typico Italian experience in that area. Here's hoping
