The food is fantastic. Top quality, fine dining for a very reasonable price. One of the best 3 course meals you will get in Ireland. I got the venison and lobster with a shared assortment of desserts. All top notch. I did not stay at the lodge.

We've enjoyed Aldridge Lodge 10+ times now so far and each time we are as excited as the first. The quality of food, service and atmosphere is next to none and I highly recommend it. Locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection and served with the highest standard. Thank you so much Team you are the best 🇮🇪🍀💚

Lee Valley Golf and Country Club

26/08/2025: Beautiful location and wonderful service. The duck was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were great. It's a bit off the beaten path, and we only found after our host gave us directions, but it was worth the trip.
20/08/2025: Didn't stay... just played golf.. fantastic course,excellent condition, fast super fast greens, not for the long hitters, 😀,, plenty of dog legs.

Hazel Mountain Chocolate

15/11/2025: It's supposed to be the best chocolate in Ireland. The samples were definitely delicious 😋. I still need to try the rest. I bought a few things.
13/11/2025: The staff are really friendly and helpful in both the cafe and the shop! Every aspect of my visit surpassed expectations. The chocolate is fantastic, quality and flavour is so much better than regular shop bought chocolate. I'm also gluten intolerant, so it was a very welcome surprise to see most of the cakes in the cafe are gluten free! I had so many options to choose from compared to most cafés, the carrot cake I had was superb. They're dog friendly so it was a treat to bring my (well behaved) doggy companion. The whole layout is clean, spacious, and well organised.
