Algiers Inn in Baltimore

The portions were extremely small for my taste; we all left hungry...and laughing at having to find another pub to eat at after spending €81. The food was good, the place was pleasant, and the service was adequate.

3.5/5 Would love to be more positive as staff were friendly and there was a good buzz about the place so it is obviously a popular spot but unfortunately we were disappointed with our food as we were informed wrongly that the buttermilk chicken would be breast (it was a pretty small thigh portion) and were also told there was no cinnamon on the churros which turned out not to be the case. We’re not inclined to make a fuss or create food waste so we didn’t send it back but we did mention the issue with the mains to the manager so found it doubly surprising to then be charged €4 for 2 pints of cordial which seems extraordinarily high for a shot of flavour in your water! The haddock was lovely as was the sticky toffee pudding but overall the experience wasn’t what we had expected.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here, accompanied by the obligatory pint of Guinness… or three! 🍺 The food was plentiful, delicious and very reasonably priced. Our young waiter was an absolute gentleman, with impeccable manners and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend it.

I always really like the food and drinks here. Especially the Barberry Sour. Delicious and the only place I've found a rum sour. The place gets very busy and they don't take reservations so you need to be early.

Lovely waitress, great restaurant, beautiful decor and great food! Highly recommend.

The breakfast burrito was absolutely stunning! Highly recommend the brunch, and the service here is excellent. Been back here multiple times now so I have to add the tacos are amazing. I also love the Algiers burger, the nachos and Sean makes a mean margarita!

Four nights in Baltimore, four dinners here. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, especially the fish chowder.

Best Mexican food I've eaten in Ireland (and I visit Mexico every year).

Friendly service and pretty good food! It's a bit pricey for the dishes, though.

We visited again last week after a trip to Sherkin Island. The 4 of us shared the mussels as a starter and they were excellent. My 3 guests were Spanish so we all had the Haddock which was excellent, full of flavour. The portion size was modest and the skinney frier were not to my living. We all enjoyed the meal and we'll be back!
