02/08/2026: We visited again last week after a trip to Sherkin Island.
The 4 of us shared the mussels as a starter and they were excellent.
My 3 guests were Spanish so we all had the Haddock which was excellent, full of flavour. The portion size was modest and the skinney frier were not to my living.
We all enjoyed the meal and we'll be back!

10/06/2026: We were warmly welcomed and greeted. We spent a week at Rolf's Countryhouse and felt completely at home. The room was lovely and equipped with everything we needed. The property is very quiet, so there was absolutely no noise – pure relaxation. Breakfast was perfect. Dinner was also fantastic. In short: we will definitely come back again. 22/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Both the food and drinks were superb. Perfect service and a truly beautiful view. A fantastic experience all around.
They even drew a four-leaf clover in the foam of my Guinness, and the chocolate cake was out of this world.

SHERKIN and Cape Clear ferries come and go and of course all the sailing and RIB boat activities.
17/06/2026: Food is mediocre, service is slow. It’s a nice place to sit and relax on a fine day. However, they allow people to vape indoors. Vaping is a poisonous habit which should be banned in public.
