La Jolie Brise in Baltimore

TLDR: Better off ordering a pizza. Great atmosphere and scenery to enjoy a summer dinner to. The Daily Special wasn't worth the 21.50 Euros since the fish was cooked alright and isn't that fresh. The outdoor seating is amazing and I had a chance to enjoy the Baltimore sunset while eating by pier. The servers were helpful, making it clear it's self-seating and the bill is paid at the counter inside at the end. I went for the special (daily fish) since the restaurant is by the ocean. I wasn't disappointed by how the fish was cooked: it was tender and flakey. The chef did not season it heavily, so one could tailor their dish to taste via S&P with the accompanied garlic butter. However, I do NOT think it is worth 21.50 Euros, even accounting for the scenery premium. The fish was clearly not caught same-day, and not that fresh. The salad was very basic lettuce pepper tomato and onions, and the fries were nothing outstanding neither. The price might just be a symptom of how fish supply moves in Ireland and local businesses are impacted by policy changes. Still worth a meal here, would just order the pizza instead!

Love, love this place. My favourite place to eat in Baltimore. Pizza, fish of the day and chocolate cake are my favourite dishes!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Both the food and drinks were superb. Perfect service and a truly beautiful view. A fantastic experience all around. They even drew a four-leaf clover in the foam of my Guinness, and the chocolate cake was out of this world.

The seafood platter was delicious, except for the half crab, which was really disappointing for a seaside restaurant. Having eaten it regularly in Brittany, I don't think it was cooked on-site. The pizza was very good, however, as was the swordfish. The atmosphere was family-friendly, with a singer on Sunday evenings, and the terraces shared by the restaurants are all close together.

Grazzi Grazzi Grazzi Grazzi mile mile mile. This pizza slaps harder than my mamas chinelas 😂😂 charred base, soft but not so soft it flops. Not thick either. Unreal topping filling covered getting filling every bite. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 within a shout for top 5 pizzas. Truly it was sooo worth what I paid and my friend from phillipines get her very first ever fish and chips and loved it. Chips are soooo goood. Crispy, seasoned perfectly, real chips.. this hit all the spots.. seating around the back of the bar.. sooo coming back again. Perfect bookend to a brilliant day out. Again top compliment to the Chef. Also Ps the bottle of soft drinks you get aren’t the baby bottles.. they’re the proper 330 mil bottles. Nice touch 👌
