Allihies Copper Café in Cork

Very informative. Great stories to read about life there at the time and what the people went on to do after the mine closed. Very interesting

Great little exhibition. It is really small but very informative.

A small but very interesting museum about the history of the Allihies copper mines. There is a little cafeteria but at the beginning of the tourist season (begin April) it was not open yet. Friendly staff. Little souvenirs and book shop. Adults pay € 6,- income which is a fare price. All explanations in English but I forgot to ask if other languages are available.

We only went to the café, but it impresses with a delicious small selection of cakes and pastries, very friendly service and a great view of the bay.

Lovely museum and cafe (carrot cake was especially delicious!) interesting history and a great way to pass a couple of hours on a rainy day!

Lovely cafe had a very nice lunch while in the area. Beautiful scenery definitely worth a visit
