Lovely food and friendly staff.

My partner and I went for dinner. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and shown to our seats. The pub itself reminded me of pubs in the 70s when I was a kid but very clean. I ordered the Chowder for starters and steak for mains, my partner had the crab salad and chips. The chowder was the best I'd ever tasted, it was that good, creamy and packed with fish and shellfish. The steak was as I'd ordered, very tasty but maybe lacked a bit of finesse around the edges. My partner's crab was excellent and the chips were a high point too. All in all very good value for money and that chowder is a must!
