Not great to be honest. Was hoping for better. I got a sloppy under-cooked burger and average chipper chips. Kids chicken coupons were decent enough.

A charming Take Away spot with a charming Mai at the counter who serves charming Take Away food with a smile abd a friendly chat and who really appreciates one' s custom. Gulped the scampi and fish tacos which were beyond delicious and served with "spudding" chips....

Ordered multiple meals online and collected..the order was promptly ready with top quality hot food. Highlights were scampi, ling and fish burger. Lovely freshly cooked food with fantastic fish!

Visited last night, I had the fish burger, my partner had the ling and chips. Lady that served us was very nice, offered great advice. Can honestly say the food was delicious, so fresh and good portion size. Whole order came to €25, that included 2 Cokes, we thought that was very good price for the quality of the food. Will definitely be back

Love the name and love the food. I enjoyed an excellent portion of fish and chips. Great taste - batter crispy and not greasy.

Prob the best fish chips I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly was 12/10 - all the sauces nice too! I got takeout as I was solo and wanted to relax while watching my shows and this was the perfect dinner in my hotel!! I would do anything to have a restaurant near me like this in Canada!!

20/04/2025: Came for the food, stayed for the service. Absolutely great stay. Even though weather was not great. Nothing they could do about that. We definitely stay again.
25/03/2025: The Tannery restaurant and townhouse - where we had dinner and stayed for a night - fell below our expectations, as we were attracted by the venue's long established strong reputation. For dinner, our starters - cod brandade and crab brulee - were quite disappointing, with not much cod or crab apparent! Mains were better (halibut and ribeye steak) although both attracted supplements of €8 and €10 respectively over our dinner package. My wife sent back her chocolate mousse dessert which resembled melted chocolate. All in all a bit of a let down for €160 excluding wine.

29/03/2025: Really nice place for lunch in Dungarvan. Food is consistently good, friendly service and reasonable prices too. The chicken satay salad and the poached eggs & flatbread are delicious!
