Our family showed up after reading the positive reviews and, despite being near closing time, Ann took care of us graciously - serving us the tastiest and freshest food we’ve had in Ireland yet. Absolutely loved my visit to Ann McDonald’s Cafe! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The sandwich was so tasty and generously filled, and the coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a long time – rich, smooth, and perfectly made. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively fast. It’s such a lovely, cosy place with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Absolutely incredible experience! The food is great and the portions are generous. They were extremely accommodating with strict celiac disease diet needs, which made dining completely stress-free. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we were doing great and had everything we needed. Every single item we ordered was a hit: the traditional Irish breakfast was highly approved by both our Canadian and Irish diners, the curry was picky-kid approved, the bacon pancakes were a massive success, and the smoothies were pure perfection. To top it all off, the homemade honeycomb ice cream took the entire dining experience to a whole new level. Highly recommend this spot for families, groups, and anyone looking for a safe, delicious, and satisfying meal!

On a rainy day, we were given a really warm welcome by the owner with our dog, enjoying the lovely space upstairs. It was only a coffee & cake break for us, but the lemon meringue was fabulous. Highly recommended.
