Antica Toscana in Drogheda

While the food is delicious, having the waitress ask how much you want to tip is very off-putting. To have them ask you when your partner, who had to leave early for an engagement but had already left a tip w the same waitress but you were unaware, is disgusting. Your food is delicious but you need to re-train your waist staff & put manners on them.

This place was fine. We walked in with no reservation and we were seated immediately. Got a margarita pizza and garlic bread with cheese and it was excellent.

Fantastic, good authentic Italian cuisine. Our first night in Drogheda for the festival we were tired, hungry and couldn’t eat pub food anymore This place is a wee gem- servers were lovely, personable and attentive. I would recommend this to friends and family definitely, we come back when we are in the city 🙌

Really nice restaurant, reasonable prices and delicious food. Portions not too big so even my wife finished her food which is rare.

I’ve eaten here many times and have always enjoyed it. The food is good and it has a nice atmosphere. However recently I’ve felt the food portions have got a bit smaller, particularly the pasta dishes. I had the Penne with beef, there were fewer pieces of meat than normal and certainly less pasta. They always had a nice montepulciano but for some reason changed brands, the new one is awful. A real shame. The staff are nice but one thing I hate is being asked if we’d like to leave a tip when paying by card. For me this is just bad manners, you don’t ask your guests for a tip. This is still one of my favourite restaurants in Drogheda and I’ll continue to visit it regardless of the few issues I’ve mentioned. Hopefully the management will address some of my comments.

Unbelievable! Food was amazing, staff were incredible! Looks can be deceiving but when you get into this place it was amazing, steak was perfectly cooked, chips were amazing with a beautiful herby spice and peppercorn sauce! Absolutely amazing food! Definitely will come back!

Pizza and Tiramisu was excellent 😋

I've been in Drogheda for 20 years. 1st time going there. I hated myself for not going there earlier. Amazing food amazing people.
