Antica Toscana in Drogheda

Lovely atmosphere. Delicious food. Great service. Best in the evening at weekends. Reasonably priced. Nice decor in the upstairs restaurant. Not wheelchair friendly. Don't let the rundown appearance of the street entrance put you off. Recommended.

They do amazing pasta arrabiata, brie, sand desserts are all amazing I tried some of everyone’s! Staff are very helpful and friendly, I will continue to go!

This place was fine. We walked in with no reservation and we were seated immediately. Got a margarita pizza and garlic bread with cheese and it was excellent.

Fantastic, good authentic Italian cuisine. Our first night in Drogheda for the festival we were tired, hungry and couldn’t eat pub food anymore This place is a wee gem- servers were lovely, personable and attentive. I would recommend this to friends and family definitely, we come back when we are in the city 🙌

Really nice restaurant, reasonable prices and delicious food. Portions not too big so even my wife finished her food which is rare.

I’ve eaten here many times and have always enjoyed it. The food is good and it has a nice atmosphere. However recently I’ve felt the food portions have got a bit smaller, particularly the pasta dishes. I had the Penne with beef, there were fewer pieces of meat than normal and certainly less pasta. They always had a nice montepulciano but for some reason changed brands, the new one is awful. A real shame. The staff are nice but one thing I hate is being asked if we’d like to leave a tip when paying by card. For me this is just bad manners, you don’t ask your guests for a tip. This is still one of my favourite restaurants in Drogheda and I’ll continue to visit it regardless of the few issues I’ve mentioned. Hopefully the management will address some of my comments.
