Atami in Dundalk

02/01/2025: We took dinner on December 31st. A table must be reserved in advance. The restaurant is small and cramped, but this adds some charm to the place. Large selection of wine. The dishes are delicious and original. When we arrived it was completely booked, people love this place. We took two starters and two main course, a bottle of water and second-hand beer. Paid 91 euros. The dishes are quite filling, considering the small portions and are based on vegetables. We've been wanting to go here for a long time, and overall we're happy. 02/12/2024: Delicious food. Friendly service that was able to accommodate substitutions. Wish this restaurant was in Dublin. Can’t wait to go back! Edit: Came back 5 months later from Dublin. Third time this year. Service was again top notch and all the food we ordered was outstanding. Highly recommend their fried chicken, croquettes, corn ribs, pasta, soup… Truth be told, we haven’t tasted anything here that wasn’t next level. All of it is infused with innovative flavours that I haven’t had elsewhere and evidently keeps my husband and me coming back for more! I tell all my friends about this place. It’s also lovely to be able to watch the star chef work passionately in the kitchen from the dining room. He clearly cooks with love. Don’t miss the chance to dine here if you have the opportunity.
