Atami in Dundalk

A wonderful dining experience with a wide variety of tasty Japanese dishes. We visited for a friend’s birthday celebration, although we arrived late, the staff were very kind to extend our time. They also surprised our friend with a thoughtful birthday gesture. I always enjoy visiting the place, its atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine.

5/5! Been going here since opened! Food is top tier with a wide range of selections! Staff are lovely and reasonable priced meals! Additionally! We had a party set up for booking a table for 10+ and we unfortunately were going to be late. We rang an hour before to let them know and they were super accommodating! If you’re in Dundalk, this is a must go!

We celebrated a birthday here on Saturday and had the best experience! The staff were incredibly accommodating—they let us bring in balloons, party hats, and even our own cake. Our server was amazing—so friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy. We didn’t catch her name, but she really made the night feel extra special and kept everything running smoothly. From start to finish, everything felt easy and joyful. The vibes were perfect for a celebration, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about creating a great experience. Food was amazing Only Downfall was the Bench Seating Vary uncomfortable

Had been here a few times, and every time it’s a great experience. Very friendly staff easy to book a table before hand. We had an issue with one of our meals but manger stepped in handled it very well. If you are into Sushi! This is definitely worth a try!

Really great food, very tasty. I would express my complain that when i required a dish without chicken, they still brought it with pieces of chicken in it. As I am on a fasting period I would like to have more options while ordering. Of course fasting is a rare thing in Ireland so I understand the managers as well.

Really good Ramen and Sushi, ambience was cozy as well and the staff was really kind too. They had Vegan Ramen as well. Pre booking might be needed as the place was quite packed. They take reservations over call as well

Lovely cosy restaurant with friendly and attentive staff, excellent menu with plenty of choice. Reasonably priced and the food was tasty. They are all so friendly and accommodating. A must visit if you like Japanese food.

We went there to celebrate a birthday. The service was great and the food as expected. Price is a little high but nothing to break you. They were very accommodating and placed a candle on the cake.
